Best upgrade I ever made to my ski boots! The Patriot Tru Straps have held up very well after a season of heavy use in the PNW. They make me feel more connected to my boot for better overall responsiveness and comfort after a long day of riding. I have my straps paired on Atomic Hawx Ultra with Intuition Pro Wrap liners. Installation was straightforward and simple. Craig is also the raddest dude - best customer service! Next up for me are the freeride footbeds.

Hey Craig, really interested in getting one, but I have an old Salomon x-pro boot that has the power strap riveted. Any guidance on how to install the tru straps in this case? Thanks :)

I really want to try these out vs booster straps. However, you don’t seem to ship to Europe?

Sorry Europe shipping has been a nightmare. I might have a solution in the coming months with an international shipper. Also there is a new version 3.0 of these ready for W23!! :)

My HEAD boots don't have screws holding my current strap on. One the outside it's just metal nubs and on the inside it's like a hollow area that would be for an Allen key however it's perfectly round. Have you come across this before?

Hi Alastair, Yes this can be the case with some boots. Fixed Rivets or even attached adjusters can be the mounting of the stock straps. Even sometimes to the point of them not being easily removed. Its in this case I wouldn't recommend going to a TruStraps unless you are very confident you can achieve the install correctly.

Do these come in different stiffnesses like booster straps?

  • @PatriotFootbeds

No, they work better than boosters! :) These are more designed to give you the perfect leg fit and getting the best flex and rebound from your boots, rather than trying to rely on elasticity. Cheers
