I was very late to the party with the PL 310ET. It is a huge step forward from my previous shortwave radios. I absolutely love it.

Thanks for the review.I have a pl310et.It is a very versatile radio.I use it mainly for shortwave listening coupled with a long wire antenna.Had many happy listening hours😊

Great radio this PL-310ET, I love the bandwidth switch. I've found this to be my "go to" radio even over my PL-680. I do love my 680 though esp. for listening to SSB.

Hi thanks for your video very nice radio and you are right i have a Tecsun PL 380 and it is a very nice radio. But no no antenna input and that is a miss but still PL 380 is a very nice rado and it works fine but I live in a environment with much interference so I would have loved if it had an antenna jack on PL 380. but it works pretty well despite the interference from all other electronics I have when I listen to shortwave. Tecsun PL 310 ET seems very interesting and thanks for the tip was not aware of the Tecsun ET 310. Another Radio I ordered last week's Tecsun R9012 so it shows up this week if I'm lucky. By the way, have you done a review of the Tecsun R9012 Have a nice weekend and take care.

Something you did not mention is that the speaker in the PL-310ET is 57mm as opposed to 50mm in the PL-380. I don't know if it makes much of a difference, but I was surprised at how good the PL-360ET sound is for voice. I expected something very tinny but it is actually quite strong and clear.

Boa explicação, na minha opinião o rádio tecsun pl380 a tende a necessidade de um boa rádio escuta.

If you tune 1kz down from the frequency you`re on when using this radio on AM it turns off soft mute on weak stations and the pumping from the automatic gain control on strong ones. Volume drops considerably when you tune off frequency so try it with headphones.

My local AM station sound great during the day, but suffer from “ghost channels” at night, will a radio with squelch, filter out those weak “ghost channels”????? I have been looking to buy a Sangean 405, or the Tecsun 310et. The 405 has squelch, does the 310et???? Amazon has the 310et $43, the Sangean 405 is $76, if AM is no better on the 405, then the 310et is a way better radio for the price. Will squelch make a difference??

The most expensive the Pl-880 but the two I have had the SSB was awful. I would suggest the Pl-680 which is only $100 compared to the Pl-880 at $160. That is my input.

This is always a hard question because it really depends on what your needs are. Do you want a radio as small as possible or do you want a desktop with better audio?
