I definitely need Troye to make ballads like this song for himself. His voice suits the emotional songs perfectly. I got goosebumps listening to this, he has an angelic voice and the emotion in his voice is unique. In emotional songs, the magic of his voice is more apparent. 🥲❤️

i know troye made blue neightbourhood for that specific era of his life as a person and as a artist but i miss it so much and this cover gave me all those vibes from back then...i'm crying from how emotional i got remembering how i felt the first time i heard to him and..idk but i'm so thankful to still be here watching him (going from different to different concepts etc) anyway!! love you troye

This was everything I wanted and more! It’s like we’re getting a male perspective. Troye has the perfect voice for songs like this. His tone, the light and the airy quality he uses with a little vocal fry is just so pleasing and yet heartbreaking! People have said this is flat, but I absolutely love the simplicity. I feel like that’s what makes this song so impactful. That, and the lyrics!

It’s funny because we had completely opposite experiences. Was looking forward to watching and listening but realised towards the end that his voice doesn’t emote very well. Comparing to Billie’s delivery of this song which can bring a tear to my eye.. this left me feeling nothing. He just sang the notes and called it a day.. it was flat for me.
