    That sounds nice, but nothing compares to having a river by the house on a wild trout stream. It's amazing to see stocked fish laying eggs and creating a thriving ecosystem. The best part? No one uses jigs. I used to live in California, but I got tired of the seasonal trout fishing every six months-it got boring since the trout would just die off. A kayak can be useful in lakes, but a stream is quintessential for trout fishing. It's practically a trademark for trout: wild, cold streams are as authentic as it gets! #toEachTheirOwn

    Fr Rob, If you work for the state and receive a pension, moving to a lower-cost state could help you save more money compared to living in Southern California. The cost of living there, from groceries to income tax deductions, is incredibly high. It's tough for the middle class to catch a break in California, regardless of who's in office!

    This is the most comprehensive video I've seen and I'm sure it took some time and thought in putting this together. So much to accessorize and the $$! I'm considering of getting an Hobie itrek 9, but love that Autopilot. I'm torn! Appreciate you sharing your setup.

    Hey Rob, haven't ran into you this past season at the Mud Hole or Hesperia Lake. But anyways, I was just wondering if you have to get the kayak registered (like a boat) with DMV? I know the trailor has to get registered tho.

    The remote is seriously not waterproof? W-T-F? That is some terrible engineering. Something very likely to get wet and/or submerged no matter how careful you are. Especially on a Yak.

  • @SeaSpankerOutdoors

    @SeaSpankerOutdoors

    18 күн бұрын

    Yeah I think its the one thing they overlooked when changing the motor around for a yak. Probably a huge expense to minn kota as the trolling motors with spot lock were originally designed for boats. That will probably be a future upgrade haha
