TROUT Fishing In A BLIZZARD At CEDAR SPRINGS!!!

Спорт

In today's video, we headed down to southwest Va to do some trout fishing at Cedar Spring Trophy Trout Stream! We were greeted with a heavy snow fall early in the morning and basically lasting the entire day. The heavy snow and cold temperature made fishing conditions very difficult but we managed to catch some BIG trout! While this wasn't the best trip, we are looking forward to fish it in the future when conditions are better! Well, that looked like a great place to catch some. Beautiful setting and some huge trout! Glad you made it back safely too. Well done👍

It’s an unbelievable fishery! Most call it the best trout stream on the east coast. The fishing is typically much better than I was able to produce in this video but we still had a blast! Thanks for watching dude!

Where the slip and fall tool place is a honey hole I love. The rocks above the senior hole is overlooked by most people. It's tough to fish it without hanging off the edge right above it though. And that can be treacherous.

😂😂😂 yeah I didn’t fish that hole much after biting it😂😂😂 but there is a beautiful back current into a deep pocket on the far side that I just knew had fish. The water was moving so fast though, I had a hard time keeping my lure in that area and giving it time to sink. But that rocky area had a number of fish. Just had a hard time getting them to hit, until I switched to that little nymph. Looking forward to going back!

Definitely an awesome vid buddy. Fishing definitely looked better than you gave it credit for just some bad luck with keeping fish on the hook.

Thanks dude! The fishing was definitely tough. Lot of short striking but also couldn’t get the trout to hit. With the snow and elevated water level, seeing the fish was almost nonexistent. The ones I could see showed zero interest in eating. Most people left at 3 without a full limit. Only saw and heard of 1 full limit.

@@CatchingLimits one rule I always lived by with trout fishing growing up, don't fish for the ones you can see but rather the ones you can't see.😉

less than a hook up an hour on a trophy stream is definitely not good at all… There wasn’t much credit to give 😂
