Beautiful territory. Cohutta Mountains and the Chattahoochee National Forest bring steep slopes and very narrow valleys. Several mountain creeks and streams in the area that flow into the Conasauga River. If you’re looking on a map, Holly Creek is near Dalton, GA. About halfway between Chattanooga, TN and Atlanta, GA. Georgia DNR this year has shifted to stocking some larger rainbow trout into Holly Creek. Thank you for taking us along with Team Pautzke to Holly Creek today.

Luckily this creek takes the brunt of the fishing pressure in the Cohuttas. There’s load of wild fish in those mountains.
