Appreciate the compliment my man! 🤙 Yeah it’s pretty special when you can build history with big Wild trout especially….. a lot of people think I have my own stream that I stock or fish some private preserve or something….. lol…..and the whole key is catch and release, you put the fish back you have a chance to catch it the following year, so many don’t understand that! 🤷♂️ We do…. Lol🤙

You don't seem to be using swivels. It would eliminate a lot of line twist. Awesome vidios with epic browns. Congrats!

Appreciate it man……👌🤙😁 yeah I try to use the least amount of hardware that I can. Number one I want the least amount of breaking points possible when I hook these big bastards and then it seems to be way easier removing snags also when I just tie straight to my lure….. this is just my personal preference I’m sure the barrel swivel would definitely reduce or eliminate line twist but I also like to struggle a little bit👌😂

What kind of hooks do you use on your spinners I been using the single hooks

I just use the factory Mepps hooks but I pinch the barbs👌🤙

Do the trout get noticeably less spooked in the winter?

That is a very good question….. typically the streams In general have less fishing pressure and then when you fish the streams when the water levels are up slightly and there is some tint to the water that also helps significantly! Other than that you can also catch them when the water is crystal clear because big fish have higher metabolism‘s and tend to feed a lot more in the winter than your smaller fish!

Yeah I’ve got one of those….. but I didn’t have one until about the summer of 2020 so some of my earlier content I’m not using one! 👌🤷♂️😁
