Troubleshooting With Thermal Imagery
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Aside from electrical, which very rarely does it ever show anything that you can't already see or feel, it seems alot more useful for building performance than mechanical. None the less it is cool.

Hell yeah! You still using it?
A Thermal Imager is one of those tools which you dont realize how powerful and important it is until you have used it and found a fault with one. My Flir has saved me hours of troubleshooting and a number of would-be fires and burnt connections. Well worth the thousands of dollars imo... One thing all users should be aware of though is the emissivity of different materials, not understanding this can give false measurements. When measuring actual temperatures for a suction and discharge line for example, i always make sure to put some electrical tape around the line (or something with high emissivity) to give me a true temperature reading of the lines as copper has a low emissivity level and will just radiate the reflective heat source such as yourself or the ambient temperature.
Now that’s pretty cool! Or hot, I guess I’ll let the tool decide....Nice video of an awesome tool.

Thank you much appreciated!
It’s great tool ! I own old flir tg130 and find drier filter plugged without gauge it up. Thanks for sharing bro
Very cool. Looks like it takes a normal picture along with the thermal pic to compare.

You can take regular photos yes, you just need to change the settings.
I like where it shows the liquid level in a coil. I suppose it could do the same for a tank of propane or refrigerant while temperature is changing.

For sure it would
I’ve read about techs doing initial Freon leak tests with thermal cameras, then pinpointing them with their leak sniffers. The idea sounds like a potential time saver, depending on how practical it really is. It would be interesting to see something like that in a demo video. Just an idea.
