@@HVACKnowItAll Thanks for the answer. The customer decided against repairing their economizer because they didn't want to replace the actuator and the control module so they'll just be running the mechanical cooling now instead. For future reference, do you know the part number of the actuator that replaces the one you're replacing in this video? It looks very similar to the one in the machine I was working on today.

I stared my hvac business in Canada 12 years ago. I’ve always just wanted a balanced work life. I knew very little about business and hard to learn thru a lot of bumps. I was tired of working for somebody, counting on the weather to keep us busy. It’s so hard to get ahead in business, especially with the crazy economy. Here it’s hard to sell a 3 ton a/c system for 5000$. I see guys in the states that wouldn’t touch it for less than 10-15k. Business stresses me out. I’m tired of the rollercoaster and catch up game that always seems to be going on. Sometimes I wish I never got into this. There is a few perks for sure , but sometimes I just wish I stayed working for the man

Nice thank you I'm getting 15.7 across all three leg start run and common. It was a little hot but all three legs are Reading the same so it is not grounded or in thermal lockout. But when the 24 volts are engaged the compressor stays at 290 on the low side and high side it is not adjusting in any way.

Always ask if the nitrogen cylinder has been used for clean nitrogen only. Sometimes the cylinder was used for some other gas and it just gets repainted. If it has had some other gas in it you now have dirty nitrogen and you can get high levels of copper oxide inside even though it's clean gas. If possible get only medical grade nitrogen, the sales person will probably give you a strange look but tell them that is what you want. And even with clean and pure nitrogen you will get some copper oxide build up.

The 40 F minus 75 F in my opinion . The 40 F . is just the temperature at what the refrigerant begins to boil with out gaining any heat just as soon passed through the metering device. The more standard temperature measurements is Delta T . Temperature of the air coming in the evaporator and temperature coming out of the evaporator. The other temperature that is importance is S.H that is the gain of heat in the refrigerant after it saturated or is changing state from liquid to vapor. But this is a different way to see the temperature difference Thanks
