I have the same issue... the phone is in CarPlay mode but , the radio not

I have a problem where the screen goes black when i put the car in gear and drive off. I can still touch the screen but just can't see the screen.

Enable all Siri settings on iPhone and then reconnect. I had the same issue..Someone else told me to do this and worked for me.

Unfortunately for me, the supplier never got to the bottom of this issue. My only option was to request a refund from the supplier (via AliExpress) and purchase a new one. So far, the replacement dongle has been faultless. I was actually hoping they can show me how to flash the dongle with a firmware. In the end, they kept asking me to do the same thing repeatedly and that’s when I decided to just request a refund.

Same issue here, just started about 3 days ago. Running a pixel 4a 5G, connecting to android auto causes my phone to restart but iphone car play works fine. I don't understand why
