There have definitley been some nerfs and changes since this video was made. Copying everything in this video I was only generating a little under 5k in revenue.

One thing you may have overlooked is increasing the budget for the teamsters. I'm loving this series. Keep 'em coming.

increase the budget of your docks. for faster ships

For those watching after the update that added the blue circle radius, simply move every plantation back one square away from the palace and rotate the three plantations closest to the palace so that the other 6 are within the circles radius.

Need to get that housing in for the 100+ people you brought in. Now that you have your cash cow producing this should be a fun play thru.

This was very cool. Especially the "oh damn he is at -20k," then two minutes later "wait, is that +20k that I see in his treasury, well damn." hehe

I think this is the best and most challenging tropico yet. They even balanced it better since this video was made. It really takes a lot to make a bunch of islands run smooth now, specially once the amount of people exceed 2000 , if the transportation and availability of needs isn't there you'll have a mess where people travel across the whole map just to get to work or to go to that one doctor that still has room.

I recently purchased Tropico 6 I must confess I was totally lost; thanks to your "Unlocking the Secrets" series I was rescued. I used your guide and now I am so hooked on this game and my experience is a pleasure. I used your method of plantation placement as a starting point for many pleasurable hours of fun and made a few changes that seemed to work for me...thank you for all your hard work and Viva La Tropico!
