Yay tropico 6 although I am surprised that your doing the DLC without doing the full release campaign on here. (As I recall you only did a beta play through which you couldn’t go past a certain point) but still glad for tropico 6 though

Your plantation layout is all well and good but in the colonial era only rum is worth anything. Would it not be better to just build all sugar and rum distillery’s in the early game? Go for high quantity of high value crops rather than a variety of efficient but low value crops?

Great Job, I like this new series idea. For Tropico, you should constantly export goods so you could have newer technology.

I miss the exploit when you could make really small plantations and maximize their peformance by putting lots of them next to each other. On the other hand building hydroponic plantations would not make sens.

8:48 So, did they fix the bug with multiculture where it didn't actually matter if the plantations were near each other, and you'd get the multiculture benefits so long as the different plantations existed anywhere on the island?

Yeah believe it was in the last big patch. They also nerfed ranches upgrades so the circle has to touch the building not just the field

That cigar factory omg its bothering my OCD. You could have deleted the road and fit it more snugly.

You're always rushing to build plantations without knowing the optimal layout for all crops, this is an easily avoidable mistake. Just remember the optimal zones for the "pickiest" crops and reserve them, don't put crops in there that you can place somewhere else.

If you didn't think about placing buildings, you wouldn't be like every other player. Makes you sound like the rest of us instead of some RTS player that knows EXACTLY how to play the first few minutes of every game to make for a perfect start.
