I hope you and the media is right on it being week but with the dangerous heat wave around most of the gulf and in, I am skeptical , just based on proven history on the most dangerous Hurricanes that developed. There is no reason this can't reach a 2 or 3 by landfall.

I am not worried about anything under a low cat two here, a upper level cat 2 or higher where I am located by can do serious damage and pose dangerous conditions of under water power lines but I am going by my experience with hurricanes with very warm to hot areas in the gulf. I have been through way to many hurricanes more than most with growing up on the islands and south florida and feel people are underestimating this one. I lost my last home to Irma on the island as a cat 5 wit the eye crossing over and hurricane Andrew as a cat 5 with the eye crossing my area in homestead Florida. I normally don't worry but skeptical on this one.
