The first time I watched it I thought it wasn't funny but then I rewatched it few weeks later and I was laughing so hard

When Matthew McConaughey comes in with the TiVo I started crying. This man willingly came all the way to wear his friend was being held hostage, knowing full well that there is a likeness he could have been killed too, just to hand deliver him the TiVo that was promised in his contract. That is one of the most definitive representations of both best friendship someone you can always count on to ever grace any screen, it's the grown up version of any 80s or 90s friendship film

"Tell him, McCluskey!! Tell him what time it is!" The joke among the cast to call Sandusky a different name every time they reference him is a funny gag. The dvd commentary of this film is just as funny as the film itself. RDJ does it completely in character as Linc and it is insane.

Had no business watching this at 8 y/o lmfaoo one of the first few times I couldn’t breathe from laughter 😪

It’s funny how they are acting on top of acting lmao 💀💀

People didn't understand what it was trying to accomplish and rated it based on that. The critics rely on giving glaring or negative reviews to earn their salaries, based on whatever studio is paying them to write them. This was an indictment of that practice, which is why it was so negatively reviewed.
