@@trippinoutdoors Trust me, I know. 😂 He always says he needs a right handed pole/reel, yet has never bought a proper set up for himself 😂. He just uses my stuff so this is what we get!

I've always noticed all those lakes out there on Google Maps, and always had a hankering to fish them. Then again, I see just about any body of water, and I want to fish it 😂 I'm from up in the Aloha area, but my dad, grandma ans step family live in Keizer. Hopefully sometime soon I'll have the means to get out, explore and fish to my hearts content, and of course, be able to capture the adventures for my channel here. (Its rather sparse lately) A great day with incredible fishing and most of the limits averaging the perfect 14-16 inch 2 pound range, my favorite eating size trout!

Great video man fishing has Ben great this year. My new video should be up soon got 3 big trophies. Back to steelhead next video. Might be my last steelhead trip for winters.

Is fishing allowed at the boat ramp area & is that area weedy? I thought the sign said no fishing.

There are some weeds about roughly 10-20 yards out but then it clears up beyond that. You can fish near it. This was before the dock was installed for the season so there weren't many boats out there and people were to the left and right of the launch.

I glove watching your videos. I have to admit that I'm a bit jealous, though. I would love to go crabbing all of the time. Unfortunately, I live in Oklahoma, so I'm land locked. I'd have to travel several hours, and at least one other state to be able to go crabbing. And that's just for blue crabs. If I want dungess crab, that would consist of several more states, and a lot more hours of travel and passing through several more states to access them. I do have it on my bucket list, though. I've watched a lot of videos where people are 'wading the shallows' and getting their limit in a relatively short period of time. Is that something you guys have thought about doing? Is it even feasible?

Glad you enjoy our videos! Sorry you don't have easy access to crabbing. 😭 We feel blessed to live there we do for our crabbing and fishing opportunities. Yes, it's entirely feasible to wade for crab either raking or with a net or by hand and we have put a lot of thought into doing it and will certainly do it in the near future. 😁
