On March 23, 2024, Tropenbos International participated in the Dutch TV programme Doe Maar Duurzaam of the channel SBS6. During the episode, Joost van Montfort (Tropenbos International Executive Director) explains the importance of tropical forests for biodiversity, the local population and for people in the Netherlands. Then the floor goes to Rosalien Jezeer (programme coordinator) who explains what Tropenbos International does to preserve tropical forests and strengthen local communities.
