Having the "right" equipment is one thing.....KNOWING how to use it is something else. 100% respect to all RNLI crews.

Troon lifeboats and crew top notch. Love it! Would have loved to serve!
Supberb the best Lifeboat footage I have seem on youtube
Those boats even "look" cool. I could never afford to buy one, but would love to get a ride on one.
Bouncing over and through. Beautiful. Love it.
What a trimendous video, to see the lifeboat cutting through these big waves 🌊, but these people do a trimendous work every day & every year to keep us safe.

I believe it has two CAT engines producing 1000HP each. That is indeed alotta thrust for boat weighing 40 tons.
these boats are unstoppable, they can take a full roll over.
Amazing video!!
Who can give the thumbs down for these people? The RNLI crews all put there lives in harms way to save others lives and they have not just my respect but support - next time any one goes to Barry Island visit the RNLI Centre and put your hand into you pocket - You never know if or when you might need these people.
Fair play all those who volunteer their time. People that are not from coast have no idea what these people do or conditions they go out in. Stay safe all

What a cool boat
yeah have to agree respect were it is due ,,,,very brave people
Espectacular
So this is more of a “rescue “ boat than a “lifeboat” a la ‘abandon ship!’ - life raft - life jacket - etc. type boat, right? We don’t have these here in Texas - so pardon my ignorance...

Hi Kenneth, greetings from the UK and Ireland. Yes our lifeboat fleet is not to be confused with life rafts or similar. Our all-weather lifeboats are high-tech machines with powerful engines and self-righting capabilities that we use for search and rescue missions in all-weathers and sea conditions. We're a charity service and our lifeboats are mainly crewed by volunteers. We've been doing this since 1824.
Lovely sea 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
This would make a nice salmon fishing boat on Lake Michigan.

Irish lifeboats can also be called to help britain....they are the same organisation. (Also as a side note its the only lifeboat organisation shared between 2 nations i believe) And 100% agree they are amazing people and crafts!

We never never say our boats are 'unsinkable'....they are as close to it as R.N.L.I. can get....and yes they at times take some punishment.....but we have the best boats money and The Service can provide.....but only Him Upstairs can say if we come back.........hopefully...lol.....
Saluut!!!!!
the body hull and shape under it is from the famous finnish boat design named: Sunmar 8500. buy one of them and you will be safe anywhere and anytime

And yet they are not funded by the government... we are surrounded by sea, we are a navel country and the government does not fund the RNLI? What's up with that eh?

Our independence from government allows us to make decisions free from changing political agendas. We are therefore able to deploy our funds and resources to best long- term effect, ensuring we can meet our core purpose of saving lives at sea. We would not wish to be subject to an ever-changing political environment, where priorities for spend can fluctuate very considerably.
