The fact that Daft Punk was not even nominated for an Oscar for this soundtrack was a travesty. One of the greatest movies soundtracks of all times!

It certainly is great. But, I don't think it's Daft Punk. It might be an A.I.-rendered mash-up of the original movie soundtrack with the music of Daft Punk. And, that might explain why it was not nominated!

@@SimpIeton1 That's one cynical viewpoint lol. You really think them choosing to feature people like Giorgio Moroder and Nile Rodgers on their album had nothing to do with doing a proper tribute to old school disco and trying to make the best project they could, it was all a ploy to "intimidate the Grammys"?

@@thesoundofsilence77 I really do think that because RAM is very succumbing to mainstream music despite all those oh so big names. And *because* of those big names, they their identity is absent for the majority of the runtime except maybe in the "Home, hold on" bit from "Touch." Do you think Kojima hunts down hollywood actors for their proven record in videogame acting? Imo, Human After All is the strongest album, but I don't blame them for going tame because clearly people hate when they do the weird stuff (HAA/Homework).

Honestly, to me this whole movie was a masterpiece. Not only did it involve the technology of the first in an incredible way, but it also showed the dynamic between father and son, between Quora and her world, it shows how freedom can be different to different people, it shows how life can change a person and how different experiences can make a person change. So much went into this movie and to me nothing will ever compare.

From the action to sereneness, stunning visuals and CGI to music by Daft Punk (yep, THE Daft freaking Punk!), not to mention the story (which isn't perfect, but that's OK), this movie is just amazing! For a Disney movie, it seems so unique!

I will never forget that experience as a 10 year old child. now i’m 22 seeking a potential career in house & future bass music; even if you daft punk has retired they ushered a fresh generation of musicians & i believe that is honestly greater than any album they could ever creat 🤍

I was 9 years old when I saw this movie. My mom would take us to the cinemas every once in a while and I believe they were watching The Princess and The Frog and I had wanted to see Tron Legacy so she let me. Now I hadn't seen the first tron, so this was my first experience with the series and it was awesome. I sat i nthe front row cause younger me thought that front row seats were better. This movie changed me for a lot. I started to love sci-fi more often and it had a huge impact on my creativity. I started working on my own short stories and started expressing my creativity more often. Theres a scene in my story that I've been working on since I was 8 years old that pays homage to the movie in which my main character ends up driving on a motorcycle across the city similar to how Sam does in order to get back home. I walked out of that cinema and into the one my mom and sibling were in and waited. It was everything I wanted and more and I told her about how much I loved it. See it was advertised all over the place on Disney Channel and Disney XD so go figure I wanted to see it.

When I was a kid, I saw this movie back when it came out in 3D. I was in awe about how awesome it was. This movie was the introduction to the style of building and architectural modernist style that I have. All glass and lights, among other things. This movie was also the introduction I had to Daft Punk. I never knew if they made the soundtrack at the time until my dad pointed it out and after we watched it at home and he pointed out to me The two DJs at the End of Line club. I will never forget this movie and it's still my favorite to this day. And it always will be my favorite. This movie has brought me a lot of joy as a kid and in fact, it's my comfort movie. Anytime I have a stressful day, I put a scene of this movie on or listen to the music. It keeps me calm and brings back the nostalgia from back in the days of 2010. Here's to Tron 3. I still hope it's happening Edit: Came back to listen again and remembered that TRON 3 IS COMING!!!! Disney, for the love of Flynn... Don't screw this up! We've been waiting 14-15 years for this!! I remember my dad got me into Tron (both movies) and I don't regret watching them. I always enjoyed the idea of there being some kind of computer reality and the Tron series did such a great job showing it. In the end I only wished it got more than it did, but I think overall it had a good run and hopefully it could potentially get picked back up again. If not tho atleast we had a pretty solid ending in Tron Legacy, and an absolutely banger soundtrack--
