Fire Emblem/Advanced Wars but with giant robots from some anime series. Og series has only the original characters that appear in some of the srw games.

This marks the point in OG2's story where Vigagi's role is reduced from "inspiring fear by blowing shit up without trying" to "fighting a hopeless battle against Ratzel, Sanger, and the 4th wall." You really have to feel sorry for the guy. He didn't think his BGM was in jeopardy. He couldn't know that his translator wasn't broken. He had no idea what the hell the episode number meant. And he wasn't aware that you should shut up and listen when Sanger's talking and/or cleaving you in twain.

Fun fact: In the original GBA version of this scene Ratsel made his intrance by launching a Fang Slasher at Vigagi. Fand Slasher is a T-Link weapon, requiring a pilot with Psychodriver ability to be used. Ratsel is NOT a psychodriver.

I think you mean the T-Link Ripper. The Slasher is a weapon you can give other mechs/pilots. Most weapons that require that start off their name with the words "T-Link". Like Ryusei's R 1's T-Link Knuckle and T-Link Sword.

Just to make something clear here: Vigagi's translator is indeed broken, because "Rätsel Feinschmecker" does NOT translate to "The Mysterious Gourmet". Unless someone wants me to, I will not get into much detail, but Elzam's alias is either an hilarious example of taking foreign words and using them in a (somewhat) nonsensical way, or an example of a clever translation for the wrong thing.

@@speedstriker The german word "Rätsel" is far closer in meaning to the english word "riddle". Mystery IS an acceptable translation, though not one most people that speak german as their birth language would use. The hilarious thing I mentioned comes from the following: Both "Rätsel" and "Feinschmecker" are nouns. When factoring in how the german language works, it basicaly means Elzam is calling himself a gourmet of riddles/mysteries.

i love how they keep making a fool out of that inspector through the show .

I'm glad they kept the Guarlion trombe in the anime. It was such an intimidating unit in OG1... much more threatening looking, too.

@duelgundam Because Elzam was technically an enemy commander who's gone missing in the events of the first OG game/anime, and so if he is found is would be brought to trial for war crimes, ect. Much like Char!

This is the best 1:36 to come out of the entire series so far. It will only be trumped when the Daizengar mounts the Aussenseiter.

If they ever make another Dynasty Warriors Gundam game they must put some of these machines into that game. Like make it Gundam vs Super Robot Taisen. Seeing Athrun Zala vs Kyosuke would be a blast! Or better yet see Char vs Elzam.

I think in the super robot wars that the Huckbeins originated in they were supposed to be alternate design of the gundam ie why they look like gundams.

It is really a shame that they do not show us the huckebeins as they are. I like gundam-like looking mecha.^^

It's not really a new mecha. It's a Huckebein mk. 3 with some Guarlion parts slapped on in an attempt to disguise it.

@angelmutsumi I don't think that Ratsel's Huckebein (GuarBein here) had a cape. You're probably thinking of the Aussenseiter, which replaces the GuarBein in episode 15 and DOES have a truly epic cape.

Fang Slasher is NOT a T-Link Weapon. It's a non-T-Link remote weapon similar to the Slash Ripper. The only time you absolutely need a Psychodriver for the Huckebein MkIII is if you're using the Boxer Frame.

Or was it also because of copyright and image of gundan design creators too??? but if you go 2 years (if you count from this anime release date on 2010) later at 2nd OG, ALL Huckebein models (sans mass produced version) has been destroyed by so called Amala Burton under BANDAI NAM-eh Arteil Stenbeck's order.

ExBein is new though. Also what was with all the shit at the end and Kyosuke and Axel ManLove attack ? I just wanted the game as a anime, none of this extra bull. Hell I wouldn`t have complained if there was a disclaimer : "We can`t actually use the Huckebeins because Copyright so please forgive us using this impostor." Or they could have stuck him in a real Guarlion. Make it a Custom for all I care but these crossover mechs annoy me a lot.

Am I the only one that thinks the new mechs ruin this ? What the fuck is a "GuarBein" ? The Huckebein III was entirely fine on it`s own.
