Note: As with any video we publish, there isn't ONE right way to catch a fish. This is simply what works for us. Other lures that can work well include flashers and flies, or stickbaits. However our confidence this time of year is in spoons.
Thanks for watching!!

Nice work. I just attempted running reef runners on mille Lacs lake last week like you displayed in a video a few years back and was very successful. Average fish around 23-26 inches , plentiful in number . I appreciate the tips over the years. I fish a heck of a lot and watching your videos I see thing that I don’t think about when I’m on the water. And it does help. Thanks. God bless

When you get a chance try a Church's stern planer. Very stealthy. 150-200 feet off the back. I've used it with 32lb copper line, mono with snap weights, etc and it always catches fish.

Use Sam’s pro release on boards. Great addition to coho fishing with boards.

I am HOOKED on these videos lol! All I want to do is go spend my paycheck on tackle and rods after these vids. What kind of weather do you look for before going out? Most of the time you are out on blue bird days with no waves I feel like.

Love your channel! Any thoughts on rod trees for boats without gunnels? I ve been using down east rod holders clamped on my old Lund Pike. It's 38yrs old and doesn't leak a drop. While not an ideal Superior boat, it works.

Do you guys ever get pink salmon when you're trolling open water? It seems like so many of them run the rivers in the fall so they must be out there somewhere in the summer.

Are you actually fishing the north shore or are you fishing in US waters? I live along the north shore of superior here in Ontario.

Since when is Minnesota the north shore of lake superior?????? I'm pretty damn sure all of the north shore of lake superior was in Canada. Unless they moved it. But I doubt it

On Lake Superior, the North Shore is Minnesota and the South Shore is Wisconsin. You probably drive on a parkway and park on a driveway. A Yeti mug keeps hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold. How does it know?

If you launch a boat in Wisconsin as well asa fair bit of Michigan (South Shore) and cruise DUE NORTH, well you will eventually run into the North Shore. If you didn't head Norteast, you will hit Minnesota, not Canada, therefore I think you must be mistaken. 😅

@Jason Hopper you should stop commenting. It really shows your complete lack of intelligence. It probably won't completely prevent you from catching fish, so go ahead and go out in your boat, but I strongly suggest that you keep the shore in sight because your navigation skills are obviously non existent.
