It's so fantastic to hear Trixie embrace the gifts and hear the echos of her father Chris in her style and inner voice. I believe Chris Whitley was one of the most important spiritual artists of our generation, I am 51, Trixie is bridging a new connection with people which stands on it's own merits while finding this deeply sacred spark as well. fantaxtic album !!!

Saw Chris Whitley in '91, front row and center. Whether or not it was accidental or intentional, your style in this song is a salute to your dad. Bravo!

+Melike Öngör - - - Because you have to be packaged & sold like a singing "Barbie Doll" in the USA & talent like Trixie possesses does not even bother to come to this country. I saw her in Brusselles & Paris- - - and they love her.....because she is allowed to put herself out there & do-her-thing. Daniel Lanois & Bryan Blades know they have something special. Go to wikipedia & read about Trixie....Hell she could have been a "prima" ballerina....but she was already playing drums @ 10yrs. old.....her talent is on loan from God.
