Agreed, but they’re starting to not be so “affordable.” Their new CC cream was 18$ at cvs. They used to be super super cheap. $18 is not totally Un- doable , but for a product I can’t even try on & color match first , I’m not really willing to risk it. ☹️

One tip I learnt about the highlighter- scratch off the top layer and it’s more intense! It’s baked so the top layer is a bit funky... setting spray on the highlighter brush also can intensify but I reckon you already knew that! :-)

sass McSass it's similar to if you've ever had a metallic/foil/shimmer eyeshadow do that weird thing where the top layer kind of seals over. Not every elf highlighter has this issue, but if you notice one is particularly dull, a lil scrapey scrape can really help it!

I LIVE a for the putty primer. I went on a date on Thursday 12/1/22 and my make up Didn’t. Move. It’s amazing.

Video ideas requests: 1. Trixie doing her make up (with which products she likes) as quickly as possible unedited video. 2. Video about how you build your wigs with the hair buns etc 3. Elf is by no means the best brand of makeup, but if you’re someone like me who loves makeup but can’t afford the good stuff, it’s a good brand to go with. Most of their stuff is pretty decent, and the quality of the products tends to be higher than the price you pay for them

Elf’s putty primer is my favorite! And I seriously love that camo concealer, I love extra full coverage and I reach for my elf camo more than my more expensive brands! So so good

Children's makeup often contains toxics things like asbestos due to it not being listed as "cosmetics" by the FDA, it's dangerous and unregulated. Don't give it to your kids and don't use it! ♥

one thing about elf, it’s completely waterproof. i’ve sobbed countless times wearing a full face of elf and you wouldn’t even be able to tell

There's a lot of ELF products that they couldn't pay me to take (most of the basic line, like the powder where you can see the pan, that Trixie didn't like), and some that would be a steal at three times the price. The "Not Not Shape Tape" concealer is so good, it buried my 14 yo's teenage acne when he was in the Nutcracker this past Christmas. You know how fierce you have to be for that?!

At this point I expect to see Trixie doing her foundation with clay, her eyes with hot tar, her lips with crêpe paper, her powder with dirt... and in the end it _actually_ turning out just fine. Because no matter how hard we pray for her downfall, in the end everything looks stunning. You go, girl.

Those $5 elf shadow pallets are 💣! I bought like, 8 of them and they really have some beautiful color combinations.

I love that intense ink eyeliner pen by ELF. I just bought five of them cuz they’re only four bucks and they’re the best eyeliner pen I’ve used since Kat Von D tattoo liner. I buy a lot at a time cuz they don’t have a TON of product in them but they’re four bucks! Totally recommend getting them from their website cuz they’re cheapest there.
