@@exeterrider Thanks. Indeed, it's those little extras that set your video apart from others I have watched. Everyone talks about horsepower and the like, but it's the day-to-day stuff that really matters. I have a Tiger 900 that's a bit awkward to move about my cobbled drive. So watching you move the 1200 in the car park was really useful in my real world. So thanks again! 👏

Having owned everything from GSA to the KTM Super 1290, found my gen 3 T12 XCA to be my fav. Put 26k in 2 years and it’s been just awesome. Dropped it, kicked it, and beaten it half to death and still does it’s job and has never let me down. Will be heading to the new Tiger GT Explorer at some point but not until I feel my gen 3 has given me it’s all. Great review 👍

Thanks mate, yes, one of the major advantages of the Tiger over the GS is it will be much more likely to filter and get to the front of the lights rather than having to think 20 steps ahead like you do filtering on a GS. That TFT dash is very good looking, nice and big but not too big and in your face. Nice skid aha I'm glad in a way it doesn't feel too different if you know what I mean, if it isn't broken then why fix it you know. I have to admit, I know people say they love to commute on these but I personally don't see the point, I have never enjoyed filtering on big adventure bikes either, they have a purpose and that's what they are best at. Those grab handles are very chunky I like them. Great review mate, I really like the bike, would love to get out on one. I think if I was looking for an adventure bike I would consider one of these over the very common GS. Hope you're well mate, keep up the great work.

Tiger's are fantastic all round bikes, there's one thing they do that other manufacturers should take note of and that's the "winglets" to the sides of the windscreen, it's amazing how much wind they help deflect away from you.

I have a black and love it. The only issue I have had is the Metzeler Tourance tyres. My front tyre being illegal due to lack of tread on the side only after 2,700 miles. The bike handled with Tourance tyres brilliantly and I liked them. I hope/ think it may have just been a faulty tyre. I had an issue with finding neutral as well which was fixed with a clutch fluid drain as part of the recall.

Great polished reviewed set in the best location around. 👍 i'm fortunate enough to have spent the majority of my time on non electronic aided bikes, I hope the new generation of riders don't end up not learning the skills of riding on different surfaces and under different conditions, or lose the ability to fix their own bikes. I use to be a luddite and be anti technology. I say used to be because having a quick shifter, cruise control, heated seats and grips, electronic adjustable suspension for a couple years I have been converted. I'm not saying it is for every bike because I love some of my low technology bikes but if you do a couple longer distance rides a year these bike cannot be beat....if you have the cash. If you are a luddite the best thing is not to ride a bike with these features because you might convert too.

I would say the new rider would be better on the 900 really.

It’s the servicing costs that put me off the Tiger. It takes a long time to remove plastics, tank etc to access the rocker covers.

I've got the GT Pro 900 coming in March, have I made a mistake not getting the 1200? I am worried that the 900 isn't going to be powerful enough??

It will be fine, the 1200 is great but unless your doing 70plus speeds 60% of the time or more then I would go 900 I think. If you had the 1200 you would wish you had the 900. Perfectly normal👍

Do like this bike very much. Too much tech including electronic suspension even on the base model, just think if aiming to own long term there could be expensive maintenance problems down the line.

My next video is me moaning about technology on bikes. After glancing through the comments, it appears I’m not alone. Lovely bike but it’s all getting a bit sci-fi 🤣 Importantly, lovely backdrop on the talky bit. Almost reminded me of Cornwall 😍

Could never pay that for a bike. Too modern, too many gizmos, too far away from what I like in motorcycles. Each to their own. Rather have 2-3 different older bikes in garage
