    Triumph of Cleveland has a very good website and very good service. . .Cincinnati should wake the heck up.

    I've had a 2018 T120 since it was new. No complaints. I've taken 2000 mile trips on it and my butt gets a little sore after some hours, but it's been flawless otherwise. Great ride! As far as the service issues, that's Triumph's challenge. They just don't have the dealer network H-D has. If you have to get the 6000 mile valve adjustment check done, they insist on leaving the bike overnight, which is a pain in the ass if you live an hour away. It's my fifth Triumph since 2003 - hook me up, Triumph - make the valve clearance check easier! There's got to be a way to account for the metal expansion and measure the valve clearance hot!

    You’re absolutely right about the T120. I feel all the same impressions about this bike. The first thing on favor is that I don’t get tired of looking at it. Because I find it so beautiful. The second thing I can say is that it is a very easy ride. No surprises there. She’s very comfortable and happy to please you, even if you want to ride it on a more lively pace she will comply and do it with class. The only thing is the rear suspension which is a little harsh on you if the road is in a bad condition. That traditional style of suspension is a little too honest, can be a bit unforgiving. The seating position could be a little more leaning to the front, it is too much upright for my taste…but it’s ok. All the rest, I only can say positive things. The clutch is light like a feather, the gearbox is precise and easy, and besides the weight, on the move you simply don’t feel it. The side bags are unpractical and too easy for someone to rip them off the bike and to open it, but they are beautiful and look very well on the bike. I rather use a nice backpack. That’s what I prefer when I go out with the T120 and need to get something with me. There is a grab rail that you can put on the back between the seat and the rear light and fix an helmet or a volume back there with a rubber tensor device, but for me the backpack is the solution. The side bags are more useful if you need to transport a laptop or something like that, those bags are more appropriate. The aesthetics of the bike are astonishing in my opinion. I have two other bikes but right now the T120 in on the spot. Thanks for the video. Keep on rolling ✌️✌️

    I don't know the Triumph dealer in Cincy, but you are right MOTOHIO is great. I like the Bonneville T120 Gold Line. The Stadard Bonnevilles used to be called a proper British motorcycle, I'm glad it still is.Happy riding to you and stay safe.

    I bought a 2020 last Aug. and have put 5k miles on in the last year. I can't think much to dislike either. The chain is a bit of a pain to adjust with removing the muffler on the right side. I can get the left side to drop enough to do that side. I wasn't that fussy with the stock tires but didn't hate them. I am going to the dealer to change them out on the 26th. I bought a set of Avon Road Rider II tires to go on. My stock tires are down to 2/32's of a inch now. My nearest dealer is 300 miles from me as the city I live in is out in the middle of nowhere. The 20 came stock with heated grips (nice to have way up here), the rear grab rail, and center stand. I wanted cruise so I had to get them to install the Triumph cruise control during the first service. I also added the Triumph rear rack, sissy bar and pad, as well I mounted a quick release Mastad windscreen for trips on the highway. I had a 22" at first which had incredible protection but looked goofy. I bought a replacement 18" screen this spring and it looks great on the bike now. It is just high enough it defects the bugs above my helmet visor for all but the biggest ones. It is low enough that I just leave it on all the time around town as well. When I do want to take it off it takes less than 30 seconds. I also mounted my TomTom GPS to the center of the bars. Great little bike for running around town and is even capable of going on short trips. I have done a round trip to the dealer for service in a day (600 miles). The stock seat is surprisingly comfortable. Not something I expected when I bought the bike.

    I thought I had it bad driving 100miles to dealer...ha - the stock tires are ok and mine came with cruise control and wish it had heated grips...the windshield is a great idea for those longer hauls...enjoy and thanks for the comments!!!

    I've had my T100 Black for 2 years. I've put 25,000 miles on it - commuter bike. Warm weather so I can ride 365 days a year, even through the rain. I ride 20 miles each way to work, mostly along coastal highway. Definitely the high point of day. Also ride it for fun on the weekends with some sections running up to 75 mph. Still loving the bike. Same problem as you with local service and parts. That's the biggest negative. Dealership is understaffed on service side!

    They were selling them real quick... I had a Harley iron 883. That was a nice bike, but it ran awfully hot. If you’re riding on a hot day, and it’s sucking in hot air. I don’t think that’s very good for a bike. What I like about the T120. It’s quick, it can be a cruiser, café racer, and you could tour with it. Within reason of course. And it has cruise control. I thought 13 K was expensive, but it’s worth it. I don’t know what the sales tax is in California, but here in Michigan at 6%. I always hear things in California cost a lot, I don’t know if it’s true.?

    Hey buddy, I just picked up a 2023 T120. Does your headlight stays on all the time? I know there's a pull switch on the left side control cluster for the high beam. but is there a way to turn off the headlight? Thanks. BTW what kind of screen is that?

    Sorry for delay - yes the headlamp stays on - I haven't messed with that and I bought the windscreen from Revzilla - like $125 Dart Classic Flyscreen Triumph Bonneville T100 / T120 2016-2022 ...it does just enough to pop a little wind over you...

    Saw your review on the R NineT first. Same two bikes I am looking at now. Local dealer has a T120 Black edition in stock. Wondering how you like the smaller windscreen vs the larger one?

  • @lifesjourneyat50

    @lifesjourneyat50

    Жыл бұрын

    The smaller one is doesn’t deflect as much as you would think…Looks better - HA….I don’t ride the T120 more than a 100+ miles at any one time. If looking to do longer hauls - I would recommend a bigger windscreen. The T120 is much more comfortable longer rides than the R9T…on flip side the R9T tooling around town is awesome. Unless you change seat and and add stuff….but the seating position is not as comfortable as the T120 - Good luck…they are both great bikes..but very different riding experiences. I love them both for what they do…..
