Lyrics:
Silent in the dark
Waiting for the spark
The wood soaked in their blood
Their hands joined in the mud
The ember gently glowed
The spark took to their clothes
The flames kept on rising higher
They stood in the fire
It burned with desire
In love and in motion
They danced with devotion
Tighter than before
They still want something more
The heat drys out the skin
As their patience grows thinner
Thinner than before
As they want even more
As they share in this fire

I've done a lot of learning in the past year. I've made a lot of changes in my life. I've filtered out quite a few habits and as a result, I've come to know that I want to progress more and evolve in the way I communicate. Devotion is a song that represents the beginning of something new for me, it represents one step towards becoming more of myself. I hope that regardless of your opinion towards it, you can begin to understand me more as I grow and continue to learn on my journey.

Almost 4 years later and I STILL think this is Tristam’s best. The vocals, production, everything lines up to create a beautifully haunting piece of work. I know the song and dance is to praise Frame of Mind or Once Again, but this? This shows what Tristam is perfectly capable of. Still hoping he can make more along the lines of this, it’s incredible.

Tristam... You have finally made a song that I love other than Truth and I Remember. You have outgrown your diaper that was Flight and its various renditions you've made. You have made me proud with this absolutely phenomenal song that I not only love, but adore. From your comment down below, I can only hope for more and more real songs that have meaning, not just fancy vocals with shit lyrics and boring instrumentals. Tristam, you might be on your way into my heart.
all of Tristam shit is dope, never dislike any of them
Tristam goes beyond himself and really made this one better then ever.
Just amazing! Really like this style :D
A year later and this song is still amazing
A bit different from what he usually does, but just as great! I'd love to hear more of this new style
This looks like the intro for some weird supernatural crime thriller.
I understand people change but not gonna lie I kind of miss Tristam’s old style
A lot different than Tristam's usual style of melodic (X). This is more futuryyyy which is honestly really cool. I'm really liking how Tristam's beginning to become more experimental, soon it will lead to something wonderful :)
this song is so inspiring it me. the lyrics, the rhythm the melody just everything is so unique!!

This is just amazing. Tristam can seriously do anything and make it good. He has made so many different kinds of music, and has mastered all of them. Some people complain about how Tristam has so many "fanboys" which is true, he's popular, but that's because he's a damn good artist. Great work.
