Never liked Trip Wire. Had no use for him and he didnt look cool, but man o man, this guy is off the hook and im excited to pick one up

This release is loaded to the gills 🔥👏🏾 man I love Joe's. A dark green wash will really do wonders for this.

A first-rate review of Tripwire and his awesome accessories, but it's unfortunate that his bigger vest is problematic. Nonetheless, this is the best Tripwire to date!

Just like heat makes it easier to remove items. Try putting that vest in a fridge/freezer before clipping in to make them more rigid

Great review as usual, very indept and thorough.

I got into Classified (and Valaverse) to do some customs from The Division and this guy is gonna work perfectly as a True Sons heavy.

Looks good, but some black details like the gun and other bits would have gone a long way to break up the gray a bit

Im on the fence about him. Maybe if I painted his gauntlets and light armor, his boots cover, that would do it for me.

I think I’m the only person who removed the upper Armand thigh armor to make him looks more like his vintage counterpart.

Great review! You never disappoint on giving us the thorough dope on figures! I quite like this figure. I think it's a very nice sculpt with good details throughout! I would have liked more paint apps too, but I think in this case, it's actually fine. Would have loved a little more paint on the pistol grip or something like that, and maybe some dry brushing on the vests. A much better effort than I'm used to seeing from Hasbro, to be honest. Love the little rat! I like the original Tripwire figure, and I love him in his classic gear!

The inclusion of accessories is purposeful, rather than superfluous like Marvel Legends. Quite rightly a proper deluxe right here

Agreed! At least the new Black Widow had some decent accessories, but we just don't get great accessories from Legends. Such a shame to. Siryn needed a screaming head! Antman could have used a Pym head, some small ants, etc. Tarantula could have used extra hands--or ANYTHING! He got nothing! The Legends line needs to do better. Not fond of their new rubbery plastic where knee and figure joints are concerned either. Rather frustrating.@@xcorpeo

It's a shame that the heavier armor is so cumbersome to put on him but damn it this a cool looking figure.... I agree there should have been more paint apps and dark washes added to make all those sculpted details on him Pop. Great unboxing and review video 👍

Fire flys land minds will work great with this figure…..woulda been nice if they threw one or two of them in so you don’t have to use flys but 🤷🏻

Didn't have any problems with the large vest, but his mine sweeper was well bent. Can't say I'm a fan of the face, but I was planning on displaying him with the full helmet on anyway. Could definitely use a little more paint, but the sculpting is there and looks great under adjusted lighting. Also more accessory storage for the handheld and other mine would have been preferred. Great points and review.

somehow i find it hard not giving it a minigun and turning it into a juggernaut

I don't do much painting though, plus this is my friend's figure, and I'm not a terribly big fan of Tripwire. Anyway thanks for the comment and paint suggestion

Again, lately the Classified line is missing the face-printing tech making the face look like it came from the Fortnite line. Otherwise a decent figure, but pricing is meh. Thanks for the early review.

Hasbro really don't need to make him a deluxe class if they want to... but they had to tricks us so... plus the figure is so bare without paint apps. This has been a common practice for all of their action figure without much paint apps now.

15:24 nice comparison pic with cobra figs. I was wondering if the body armor was reuse from firefly.

I got mine too (as he's also out in the UK early too, He's not perfect the material of some of the accessories could be a bit better. The Rat is flipping adorable mind. The Robot could have been better the front treads would have benefited from being articulated and maybe a flip out peg on the underside to allow it to be back carried. The carry handle is a bit to fragile too. Oddly he has a cover on the underside if that popped off it would have been a good place to store the mines. Some storage points around the figure for them would have been useful. I agree he's a bit plain looking in terms of paint but I found I liked the look, though I decided he's best borrowing some additional weapons. I think he looks nice with the other "Green Guys" though and the more of those they make the more useful this one will be. Perhaps he is a bit overpriced considering some of the minor issues. but I think he's one I'll actually play with so that make him worth full price to me. I would just caution that you take it slow and careful as his nose can get caught on the chin strap rather easily and you have to take care you it isn't accidentally torn. He looks very nice with a Ram cycle too as he complements it's colours well.

Haha another addition to the green team. I think MACLEOD has got a cover cos it's moulded hollow to save on plastic. At least Hasbro has covered it up rather than leave gaping like the underside of some transformers 😬

Great review, you had mentioned on the Nunchuk review that it didn’t have a wash. Classified doesn’t have a wash, when I do customs, I try to match the factory look by not applying a wash . Just letting you know , great review!

Yeah sure, but some figures do have dry brush, like Storm Shadow? I'm not disputing, just think a bit more paint on the already sculpted details would work much better, like coloring some straps, pouches or buckles

I'm on the fence with him. The lack of paint really bothers me and makes him look cheap and plasticy.

100% does not deserve the price tag.

Dont care what anyone says but im making him absolutely a heavy gunner with a mini gun...damn its freakin perfect!!!!!!

Too many unwanted accessories on this figure to needlessly force the price up. I hope Hasbro do a streamlined carded version.

junk design for vest they know most left buying these they defend the bs.... Should of made for boil and pop method. These gummy pegs will never stay in design on it was so disgusting. Buy 2 super glue one closed...

A little swirl of resin glue or nail polish around the holes (left to dry) seems to give the pegs plenty of grip.

Sounds like Lenny was made aware of the gummy accessories or at least knows fans and collectors hate them and said they will address that issue. Hopefully soon. I'm probably going to add a little paint to mine when I get it. Just some gun metal grey to the weapon and mine sweeper and possibly to some areas of his armor. Or at least a darker grey to some areas of it. Overall he look good.

This video sucks I wanted to see with his armor off like a classic tripwire
