I also just bought the Mavic 3 back in January and thinking about selling the whole combo to move into the Mavic 3 Pro with the Tripltek 9 Pro. I love the bigger screen and brightness vs the new smart controller's. Can't wait to see your new content on the Mavic 3 Pro!

Great comparison DXF! I heard about the Dronelink and will likely sign up for it. As of now, I only fly recreationally and I already own the Tripltek 8 which I am quite happy with. These tablets are expensive and I would say, well worth the cost. Not really interested in upgrading the tablet just yet but I am happy that finally, you can have waypoints with the Mini 3 Pro via this APK. I think the recreational fee is fair ($24.99). I think I paid about $5 for my Maven app which I purchased about 4 or 5 years ago for my DJI Mavic Air 1 and Air 2. Always loved that app and I am surprised that Maven did not beat Dronelink to the punch for the Mini 3 drones. But, what the heck do I know? They very well could have but last I checked, they had not come out with it yet! What was really nice was when I got the Air 2, it was a free upgrade from Maven! Maybe we will get lucky and they will allow an upgrade for the Mini 3 Pro which would be awesome! Thanks for sharing and I apologize for the extended comment on an app that was not in the discussion! LOL!

Hi, thanks for the video. One can cast from the Tripltek 8" to an HDMI Microsoft, or Anycast device. There is no need to have a physical HDMI on the Tripltek. That Tripltek 9 is pretty expensive.

I use that Microsoft adapter as well prior to getting the TripLtek 9, it does however act up sometimes especially when it comes to latency but definitely a good enough solution instead of spending for an entirely new tablet.

Hello and thanks for the great video. I am looking for a wireless video transmission system and maybe the Raven Eye device could be the way to go. I am flying the Mavic 3 Pro and the Mavic 3 Thermal. Would the Raven Eye be compatible with both of these ?

I love your channel, you do a great job. Thank you. I use the 8 pro to do all my drone video editing on dji fly. It is very slow to transcode the footage. I want to get the 9 pro thinking it will process faster, is that correct thinking? Thanks.

I’m still on the fence to upgrade my 8 to the 9…I fly with the Epson Moverio glasses and the screen casting just plain fails from time to time, so the HDMI out might be worth it…

With the HDMI output, can you select camera view only to the output device, so none of the flight information is displayed on the second tablet? It would be in transmission settings in the fly app, when connected to Tripltek 9.

Great comparison X! I upgraded from the Tripltek 7 to the 8 and I've been very happy with it. I like the fact that it is a tablet and you can use it with all different drone brands. Also, it's a phone so you can use cellular data if needed.

Thanks for no-nonsense review/video. IMO, it is all screwed up. The mini should have hdmi out and the 9 should have hdmi in. I don't understand why they got it so wrong. What I want is the ability to project phone app display on hdmi goggles. It is amazing that to this day, this is not possible or practicle, the 9 is way too big just for that.

Hello my friend! Which places do you recommend me to fly my drone in NY. I do have my part 107!

What app did you use to connect the Raven eye? (I have the Ronin.)

If I connect hdmi, can I turn off osd? "dji fly"

That would be great because want i want to see gets lost in translation. So frustrating not being able to see what's going on and missing angles.

Nice comparison man. I have the T8 Pro and i wish i had the T9 Pro for the HDMI out. I will like to also know what sunshade i can use for the tripltek 8 Pro? or do you know if there is a 3D printed sunshade that can work? Thanks in advance

I just use the Matt screen that comes with the TRIPLTEK. I was out in bright sunlight today and no glare at all. Really don’t need a sunshade with the Matt film on the screen.

I got the Hoodman sunshade that works well.

If 9 has HDMI can I run Crystal-Sky out of it ?

Do you have a sim card in the tablet? I bought a tripltek 7 and its in limp mode on the dji app??? I can only go 30m up and 40m out but when i use my phone its fine again.

That's your DJI Fly app settings. First make sure you're signed into your account (same that's on your phone) !

I don't understand why after 3 days on a fully charged turned off Tripltek 9 Pro, it's totally flat when you try to turn it on? (it won't turn on unless you charge the battery to at least 5%} Have looked in battery management and ensured nothing was running in the background when it's turned off.

I guess there is a dongle for using as a monitor.

I have no idea where you are flying but in the USA, it is illegal to fly BVLOS. Not a good way to promote the product or your channel.

8:07 A very bad tablet with only 800x1280 resolution, claims it is a 2560 by 1600 pixels display. Four times smaller. You can notice it if you do a screenshot and look at the image info.

I am extremely disappointed in tripltek as a company. The P4P mount snapped during regular use due to poor design and poor material choice (plastic). They refused to stand behind their product or offer any discount on replacing the part ($75 after 1 year of use). They said it had a 1 month warranty when I contacted them with a video of the broken part. I was skeptical in buying into this system and I unfortunately got screwed by these people. The tablet is too thick to use with a standard mount so they sell you crazy expensive mounts. Do not recommend.

Cost half what I paid for my drone, no thanks 😮

Are they that reflective, like a semi-reflective mirror?! Absurd.
