I personally find making triple hets or putting animals together that make visuals for one double het for others are a great way to go for making better odds on the doubles and with testing you can hone in your holdbacks for the eventual triples down the road, so with my triple het Axanthic DG pieds my overall goal isn't to hit the triple (although amazing if I do) the real goal for year one of the pairings is Axanthic DG, and DG pieds, with the testing to pick the keepers, obviously keeping a Axanthic DG male even if it tests neg for pied would still be a good thing for the collection. 🤟 Definitely thinking outside the box on pairings is the way to stay relevant in this market.

Another route I went is breeding leo Axanthic Pied to pin clown het Axanthic rather than what many would have done and done a Axanthic het clown or even an Axanthic clown to make more Axanthic clowns. Axanthic double het clown pieds will be more valuable than Axanthic clowns especially for the future. And honestly the Axanthic Pied male cost half what a Axanthic clown male was at the time as well so it's a win win

Lavender albino clown pied is my first triple project. I’ll be pairing my dreamsicle to a clown combo next year to make triple hets.

I think of supers and recessive as the same. Sure you can't see the visual single gene recessive but it still takes both genes to hit a super similar to recessives. That said I'd be interested in a similar video but on super combos

All good candidates. Now let's take it a step farther by adding what codoms would would best compliment the recessives for each project. I personally love what hypo does to the chocolate gene adding that with the Barnhart line of Black Pastel, Leopard and a side of Banana or Coral Glow. Now imagine that with in a triple recessive of Clown, Hypo and Puzzle.🤯

I'm working towards ultramel hypo sunset and ultramel hypo tristripe.

Yes!!! We are actually working toward Hypo Ultramel Sunsets too! We have a male Bongo TH SS Hypo Ultramel and 3 female DH SS Ultramels for that project right now

Hey, what ever happened to that Dinker pair you got from Outback about a year ago? That male should be coming up to breeding size soon. Did you ever put him with your visual clown female like you thought you would?

I have a clown. It is a female, and there has a black track all the Way y down at the end of the tail from the vent go to the end of the tale. Does all clowns have that….😊😊😊if you could let me know…. Thanks
