Triple muzio is the first gambit that got me hooked to this king’s gambit game. Beat a rival so soundly with this, they got me super drunk trying to get me to lose, but the triple Muzio is just too good. They never beat me and now they don’t play me anymore!

Hey Kevin, let me just thank you for such consistent work, never seem to disappoint. Crazy opening BTW

This is a fun opening that I've now tried about 50 times. But not once has any opponent brought up the second black pawn to G5. Nonetheless the opening does confuse some folks, which is fun. But if don't change strategy quickly, I often get beaten when my opponent develops normally.

9...Qf5 is a line that takes some of the fun out of this, not to mention many much earlier deviations that sidestep the ultra-sharp lines if black is unsure of the right defence. In a bullet game black would be crazy to go into this sort of line.

My only problem is when Kevin goes over these gambits and traps I feel like he only goes over when your opponent plays incorrectly. So you’re screwed when they actually play correctly. Also a lot of people I play against decline gambits, just because they don’t understand them and don’t want to fall into a trap.

My goal is to go over when your opponent play correctly. If you are referring to someone would never go for the Triple Muzio Gambit in the first place because it's incorrect that feels like a different thing entirely. I have other videos covering if the Triple Muzio Gambit doesn't come up. If it does I'd be curious what moves you think I covered that are not the best options.

Yeah yesterday i really got lucky with my setup. This guy forked my queen then promoted a second queen then while he then took my hanging rook, i delivered a checkmate with a knight.

Very interesting opening! The flaw is pretty big!

Keep it up amazing video looking forward for some more traps and gambits. Also can you place all traps and gambits in a playlist so that evey user can just scroll through them in no time

Yeah, I think that's how every game I play is gonna happen. I'm stuck in 600 ELO because I'm not grinding and the time pressure makes me dumb.

At 5:37 after Q-C4, black could do P-D5 and lose a Q to a R.

I find this very awesome! The similar from the last Gambit Videos is the Bishopsacrifice on f7! Simply the best Move in many Tournamentgames I think! Have a nice Day!

2:47: what if black just moves queen from d4 to f6? mterial advantage is enough, no need to endanger the queen no further, especially since the king is quite exposed?

So when black plays strong, no deep analysis? Lots of attacks? Well it means black will gain tempo defending with other pieces and up to material. It's mate or go home.

... g5? But with intent to fianchetto and castle kingside. It’s the 4th move and it’s feeding Black a material advantage which leads to the bishop exposing the king

I think opponent will not make a move of pawn from g5 to g4 - and so our gambit may likely fail

Question: At step # 6 instead of Qf6 black plays Bh6?

d4. You are getting that pawn no matter what. There is no way to hold it. Just to delay the capture. g3 if needed.

I have never seen a player against the Muzio play Qxd4 . Way too much time on the very incorrect assumption that the move is forced and this is the only variation needed

The Problem with gambit is its a gambit its a gamble a bluff with a trap good when you are physically playing against people not online or against computer where you can identify the expression off the people

Why would black not go for the queen trade

nobody, and i really mean nobody i have played against defended their pawn. maybe i am just playing to too low ranked people, or they know about the triple muzio gambit, or they just dont care about the pawn. hopefully somebody will fall for it and defend their pawn so i can finally try this out.

What should you do if the queen doesn't take the e5 pawn in the earlier moves?

How do defend the queen putting you in check after the second white pond is played??

At 1:38 after Qeen takes d4 I dont understand why not just take the pawn on f4 with bishop, preparing bishop e5, discovered check and both queen and rook is under attack. Not much black can do besides queen f6, after which white has some threats including after maybe rook d1 bishop can pin queen to rook, and queen is pinned, could exchange but the rook is still lost

Actually I just realized rook d1 is unnecessary because the queen would be pinned, after queen f6 simply bishop d4, all black can do to save the queen is exchange then the rook is lost.

@@nickdavispros988 If your king is under attack it's called a check and it's a rule that you have to protect the king first. So you can't really play Bxf4 that would be illegal

Use an engine usually if they make a goofy move it's bad and u might be able to punish them

at 2:22 what happens if their queen suicides into the bishop? I would be okay taking two bishops and a knight for a queen
