driving anywhere the fort lauderdale area to tampa is around half an hour shorter than if you were to drive from miami to tampa. so i'd say roughly 3 and half hours if you're willing to drive, but i think there is a nonstop flight from FLL-TPA that's only an hour long.

How was the flight. Did you check in a bag. How much did it cost. How would you rate the meals from one to ten.

the trip costed around $600 a person, and yes we checked in bags. the meals get an 8 imo. the flight was overall really solid.
