I was at WDW last week and cried when I had to drop off my dog at the sitter. Travel anxiety is always fun.

Welcome to London! 🇬🇧 I live and work here so definitely lots of staples to see and do! 1. Don’t be afraid to use the underground trains they’re user friendly 2. If you’re going to the shard be sure to visit borough market 3. Find a greggs and have yourself a sausage roll (they’re the best!) 4. All bar one, slug and lettuce, dirty martini and whetherspoons pubs will be your cheap best friends and some do happy hours 5. Try a nandos it’s sooo good! 6. There are Uber boats you can get (Thames clippers) that will take you to different parts down the river to explore such as Canary Wharf and Tower of London! 7. Be sure to explore the free things such as going to the natural history museum, British museum and having a stroll through Hyde park! Some locals suggestions of other things to do in London! Enjoy the city 🎉

Sorry I’m 2 months late, but I’m in Canada and love Nandos. I heard they were super popular in England, but we still have several in Vancouver. Do they not have them in the States? They are missing out!

This is one of the best travel day videos I've seen; it really gives you an idea of what an international flight is like. We've never taken a vacation that lasted more than 7 days, but being away from our pets for that long was very tough. You're always wondering what they're thinking! Hopefully your friends will send you some Gracie videos - that helps a lot. I'm sure she'll be just fine, and imagine how happy she'll be to see you again! Maybe you'll find some fancy international pupcakes. Relax and enjoy your trip.

Your giddiness about traveling makes me want to travel again soon. I remember being this giddy the first time I traveled to London. It was my first foreign destination, too. The underground is the best way to get to/from Heathrow. You won't stand out because there will be others with their luggage, too... and it's very inexpensive. Make sure to schedule tickets a day in advance for Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London, etc. It will save you a lot of time waiting in line to purchase tickets. ENJOY yourself!!! I'm so jealous!!!

Yes! I put that in my list of recommendations for him. Strange enough, when I lived in Orlando, I knew a person from India that claimed that second to India, Orlando has the best Indian food. Take that for what it's worth! I think London definitely takes the prize on best Indian! I miss The Bengal Restaurant (closed now), that was right near the Thames. London is a gastronomical delight! Lived there for 6 months and I miss it something fierce. First place I had Indian was in London. The person I was dating took me out and I fell in love with the cuisine! I have already gone on long enough - I'll spare you the details (don't get me going about the onion bhaji and the naan and the mixed pickle). I wish I was on this plane with Nate right now! Anyways, that was fun, thanks for bringing up the topic. Haha

It absolutely is. There needs to be a chain of dog hotels. In my area there aren’t many places. I travelled a 1/2 hour to a place that runs a kennel and trains police dogs. I had my dog fully vaxxed and health was up to date. He was about to turn 3 so he’s young etc. He was joined by my sister’s dog and both came home sick with tummy issues.

​@@Weatheredstorms1Kennels always end up giving your dogs their food even if you leave their own food. This causes dogs to get sick with diarrhea from the change in food.

So glad to see you have a passport. If ever there was a KZreadr that needed to travel, you deserve to see the world.

My mom was on the flight with you!!! She didn't even know until you pointed to your flight on the board! She met you last year at the grand Floridian when she was looking at the ginger bread house! I told her I'm so jealous 😅

I have a deep fear of flying and watching your flight to London eased some of my anxiety about taking a long international flight. You made it look so fun!

Wow this hotel is amazing! Most hotels I've stayed at in Lonon or Europe are old. They might be beautiful in an antique sort of vibe, but I've never seen one this modern. This blog is so fun!

I'm a huge Tudor history nerd. Going to London was my dream trip in 2017. Don't miss The Tower of London! And I hope you like sandwiches... there's a Pret a Manger on every corner!

I’m excited to see your reaction to London. There is so much to see and do, when we lived there we liked to take people on a bus tour or river tour to start with. Top sights for me would be Tower of London, visit inside Kensington palace, the London eye, the WB Harry Potter studio, London Dungeon. There are a ton of free museums so if you have time I would go to the British museum and Tate Modern.

I am so excited for you to experience London. I just went there for the first time last summer. I felt the same way you did. I am from Pennsylvania and had never went to Europe before. It’s such an amazing adventure. Enjoy every minute! Be sure to have an afternoon tea. Westminster Abbey is absolutely stunning. Tower Bridge is pretty cool too. I travel a fair amount and I had a lot of anxiety about it at first and I think if I had seen this video back then I would have felt so much better. You really walked us through your experience and stayed so positive even when it was stressful.

Have a traditional “ Full English Breakfast “ at the “ Regency Cafe “ in page street , Victoria, London , it’s famous for its food and has been in many great films like “ layer cake “ starring James Bond actor Daniel Craig , you’ll love it ! Any London cab will know of it and take you there .

I quite literally got so upset about leaving my dog behind on a trip down to Orlando for 5 days that I had a panic attack and threw up outside of the airport 😂😂😂. You are not alone.

I can't sleep on a plane, and Australia is so far from anywhere so I know that delirium well. Have a good nap Nate and enjoy London! Can't wait to see what you get up to.

I love my 3 cats. I love travel. They go with me domestically. I go alone internationally. I just found your channel. Gotta love your enthusiasm. I am surprised you have not discovered traveling light just yet. It’s worth it on so many levels.

Welcome to the UK on your first trip to a tiny bit of the rest of the planet. Long(ish) haul East or West is not to be underestimated, it takes up to 3 x 24 hours to become settled. Be careful what you plug in, UK electricity is 230 volts 50Hz AC which is the reason for the increased safety levels designed into the wall sockets/plugs and strict, detailed legislation for electricity in bathrooms etc.

It’s so exciting to see you as a tourist in my country 😂 All our plugs (outlets) have switches on them. I hope you have an amazing time!!

Oh my goodness this was a lovely video - from the separation anxiety with Gracie to your first impressions of the UK, fab content!! I’m from the UK and lived in London for a few years and moaned about it a lot, but I am really hoping you love it because it’s a wonderful city! The first thing I noticed was the construction when I moved there in 2014 too, it never ends! If you have a chance, the view (and the slide) from the Arcelor Mittal in Docklands, the Thames Clipper boats (not tourist boats, people commute on them), Tower Hill, the Globe theatre for Shakespeare, the pubs in the City (financial district), and explore the little side streets. The museums are all great and some of them are free too - and the aquarium and all the places on the South Bank are worth seeing. Brick Lane is great for a curry or a bagel and Covent Garden is worth a look, and Chinatown is just next door. I will stop but I could go on and on!! Have an amazing time and I hope you have as good a time in London as we did in Orlando 😊

We were in London for the starwars celebration, from Texas and had so much fun visiting London we fell in love with London it’s amazing, we decided we are going back even before we left.

I feel you, Nate. I can never sleep on the plane either. A friend has a funny story about traveling to London. He took a red eye (didn't sleep) and had booked himself a ticket at a West End Broadway show matinee for that day. After no sleep? He said he heard the first few notes of the musical he was attending and slept through the entire performance. Have a blast in the UK!

This was so fun to watch! I’ve never traveled outside of the country either so it was cool to see the flight and hotel tours. Gracie is such a sweetie, so I can imagine how hard it would e to leave her. But I’m sure she is in good hands. Enjoy your trip! Looking forward to seeing more of London!

Welcome to the UK!! We always have separation anxiety when we leave our fur baby to come to Florida. Gracie will be fine, think of it as a holiday for her too. Make sure you have some fish and chips and a Guinness in the real England. Feels good to know you are on our side of the pond. Hope you have a great time

The bike rental spots all over the city were my favorite thing. I never used a taxi because I just cycled from on biking station to the next. London is my all time favorite city.

Fun fact. The fuselage of a 737 is the same size as the engine on a 777. I think virgin airbus though… but just gives you an idea of size difference for international planes 😅
