We have been flying Turkish last 11 years, they have NOT disappointed us yet, they have the newest fleet, cleanest airplanes, great delicious dishes, very friendly staff and 99% of times on time. never lost a baggage either, and this new Istanbul Airport Rocks, we are coming August 22 from Los Angeles to Istanbul, we love this country

Congratulations on the time-lapse footage, they are fantastic. 12:47 Perfect welcome on board music, very relaxing. 24:31 I have a different perception about the portions of food served nowadays: imo, the portions are minimal, almost abysmal. It really looks like food for kids! 25:36 Metal cuttlery in Economy class is very rare indeed. Besides Turkish Airlines I would mention Singapore Airlines, which also delights its customers in Economy with metal cuttlery. You have to respect this! 27:45 Few airlines offer Inflight magazine after the pandemic. It looks like they really decided to cut this near-essential item on board, which is a shame. It was a nice touch, representing that extra-mile we all used to enjoy. 34:00 I have never seen such a beautifully presented sert of amenities on a Economy class washroom! Even a bottle of anti-smell essence! Was only one meal service offered?

when the flaps are activated, a low-pressure area is created under the wings because the airflow that flows above the wing has a longer path. As a result, lift of the wings is increased and the aircraft remains in the air at a lower speed.

It's neither to reduce speed nor to descend quickly, the speedbrakes are extended to not let the aircraft accelerate while descending, even with low descent rate, horizontal speed or say: indicated air speed needs to be under control to reduce turbulence in the busy airports cuz there'll be a lot of aircrafts landing and taking off, so pilots and controllers are be careful with it

Trent 7000 is definitely way better than the others, less noise, more fuel efficient and much more reliable than Safran and Ge.

I am not seeing the other European airlines in Casablanca, Morocco or in Senegal and now on this Istanbul, Turkey airport. No American Airlines either. Thus far the plane seems to be clean just tacky colors on the seats.

A woman captain. I am sorry, but NOT for me. I know this is 2023 and women DO fly widebody jets, but I still can't get used to my plane being flown by a woman. Fortunately, women pilots are still a small minority and I hope that it stays that way. I would feel much safer during a nosedive knowing that there are two big husky guys with big muscles up front pulling on those yokes to get us out of it.

On fly-by-wire aircraft with a side stick, like the A330, strength is not necessary to operate it. It is a non mechanical device...no pulleys, levers, or cables connected to the side stick. The system is electronic.
