All airlines will have things to improve as no airline in the world will meet everyone specific needs (even the ‘best airline’ to you. .. ie too cold too warm. FYI SQ do provide blankets and these are standard economy seats. You want more legroom, upgrade to business or first class. Most importantly is everyone reach their destination safe.

Yeah i did fly SQ early last year from London to S'pore but ever since then I have been flying Cathay Pacific since last year and early this year London to Hong Kong return and Hong Kong to Singapore return. I am spending 3 weeks in HK and 4 weeks in SG. I have to say i do prefer the Cathay service over Singapore Airlines. Small details like ear pods that did not work very well really annoyed. Cathay gives real head sets and yeah i did prefer Cathay's food and snacks. I do miss when Singapore Airlines gave hot towels ... sad that they don't

The recline wasn’t reduced and I personally didn’t hear any sound from the galley. And benefit for me was that there is no one behind you.

Flew this trip 10 july. Was sit over the wings, Was hard to see end of the wings, is so big. Was my first flight over 4h and wiht A380. Iam was like a kid, could not sleep. My girlfriend sleep on 2sec and sleep long time. We travel from Stockholm to Davao ph. Great video!

How to decide the "best" airline. Really it is also about how useful that carrier is for you and whether or not you are visiting its home. For example, some say that Air NZ or NH are the best but what use are they to the traveller if you live outside their limited networks or have no plans to visit NZ or Japan ?

@@Annaspanner Yes. Many people say the same. Air NZ *might* return to Europe in the future. In aviation nothing is set in stone' so if Air NZ has a new business plan in future years then it could restart flights to Europe. No guarantee though !

Thing is, no airline is perfect 😊let’s get that straight. And tbh any airline that says they’re the best in the world is DEFINITELY lying😂! Every airline has something to improve that’s a sure thing. I’ve not flown SQ, but I’ve flown EK numerous times and I believe they could note some things from SQ👍🏾, but they’re still a good airline (from economy perspective). A lot of airlines tend to focus too highly in my books on premium class cabins. They need to see what they can improve on for economy passengers, as economy have the least amount of comfort. With seating n space n food etc that could be improved, I’m sure airlines could fair better👍🏾.

As far as I know boxes are on flights under 4 hours.

Huge gap between seat and window on this plane,with arm rest between,means you can’t sleep against the window. Vey annoying and uncomfortable.

@@AviationFin yep that is right, I was also expecting to be on a 20 year old one with the old plastic screens, but we suprisingly were on a 10 year old model. Our connecting flight on an a380 was a brand new one.
