I never tighten the set screw on my rests and never had a rest move. I just hate putting marks on the riser.
Could you use this or other Hmaskea rest without and activation cord?
How do you time the rest? Like how long is it supposed to stay all the way up, or when is it supposed to start falling or be all the way down?
Last time I checked "about where you're lookin" isn't a unit of measurement for tension. Wondering if there is more specific step by step Instructuons for someone who hasn't set up the rest a hundred times.
Maybe I missed something but can this rest be repositioned to the front or back for torquetuning?

Reverse wound spring if used as a conventional rest.
Do those parts come with it

Yes they do
One ugly mounting bolt. No pan head style!
