Trinidad Doubles Recipe with Condiments- X New York Times X NBC6

My First Doubles recipe was on Jan 30th 2016. I experimented so much until I came up with the boiled version using my simpot ( like an instantpot) on June 8th 2019.
This makes 23 pairs
2 cups channa/ chick peas
1/2 cup dhal / split peas
1 tsp baking soda
----
1 tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
1/2 tsp roasted geera powder
1/2 tsp amchar massala
1 tbsp green seasoning
1/2 tsp turmeric
----
For the Bara -
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 level tsp baking powder
2 tsp yeast
2 1/2 cups luke warm water
2 tsp oil
1/8 tsp turmeric powder

    You can boil until the grains are tender. I touched on that in the video.

    A pressure cooker also works well.
