Was choosing between Trimui smart pro vs rg35xx H. Not sure if it is woth getting Trimui for PSP alone as many games are on 1x resolution but on a bigger screen (very blurry)

If I had to choose just one, I would go with the Rg35xx h right now just because it has better custom firmware support. The TSP only advantage right now is PSP at 16:9 and bigger screen

It all comes down to what you are going to play. Trimui isn't exactly perfect for PSP but PSP games on the rg35xx h's small screen are almost unplayable. Trimui screen is also good for Portmaster and Moonlight. But if you don't care about that then the rg35xx h is probably the better choice, it has a way bigger community and support.

Also widescreen hacks. Like Dreamcast games. I love the smart pro for that.

But gta Chinatown wars works way better on rg35xx H no lag or tearing

Wait for a better widescreen device and go for a R36S in the meantime.
Why was Midnight Club running at 20fps?

Lower Cpu frequency. The aim of the video is to try to get games running at 100% emulation speed. Midnight club is beyond what this device should be able to handle and definitely can't do it at 30-60fps that the original hardware did. Frameskip also doesn't seem to help bring it to 100% speed so I did a freq change.
My force real clock sync is cannot change, idk why ?

That's strange. What OS/firmware version are you on?

Same for me it’s greyed out. Running latest cross Mix OS

Ok I figured it out. You have to turn off "auto frameskip" in order to use "force real clock sync"
Anyone here own a R36S ?? Please try resident evil series on ps1 and for psp pls try flatout and warriors, kurohyu ryuga I need to know if it can run them smoothly…. It would suck if they aren’t playable, they should have at least made all games playable

I have a bunch of r36s gameplay testing videos on the channel as well. Short answer is that PSP will not run everything. The r36s has a weaker chip than the trimui smart pro which also can't run every PSP game. Warriors will not run well on r36s. Haven't tried the others yet

@@RetroHandheldGuides that sucks , flatout is the exact same as pc, I played on my childhood when my brother got his first graphic card for games and it runs well on iPhone. Over here in asia, a jailbroken psp cost around 5-6k and on the Amazon app the r36s cost 5.9k and considering that it has tons of emulators for other systems the r36s seems better than going for psp’s but too bad ima have to stick to playing on my iPhone with game pad. At least emulating it on iPhone works better than on that thing. It’s just screen touch controls don’t feel good

If your main system is PSP then an actual PSP will always be the best option per $ spent. If you want a handheld that can emulate every PSP game plus a bunch of other systems then you are looking more at the $100USD option like the retroid pocket 2s

@@RetroHandheldGuides yea I’ll just buy a Gamepad for iPhone and maybe a jailbroken switch in the future. Thanks
Why would you go for that instead of a ps vita?
eww that screen tearing is a no-go.
