TrimUI Smart Pro N64 Gameplay Testing
In this video, I will be taking a look at N64 emulation on the latest firmware 1.0.4 of the TrimUI Smart Pro.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the TrimUI Smart Pro if you plan to do N64 emulation at this point as many of the N64 games will not boot at all. I am hoping that this is a firmware issue that can be resolved in a future update, but as of now, there are many notable games that will not play at all including Goldeneye, Mario Golf, and Perfect Dark.

I wanted to play mystical ninja starring goemon but it never runs fine on any of these portable devices
I'm baffled that Mario Golf will play on my three year old Anbernic 280m (on the same emulator), but not this thing. 😢
Have you ever tried Animal Forest/Animal Crossing tor N64?
Will obly some n64 games work?. Im having issues getting n64 games to boot..it will try to load but brings me back to the main screen. Any suggestions?

Yes, right now only some n64 games will actually boot. I have not found a fix yet. Hopefully the devs can fix this in a future update or it can be fixed with a future custom firmware.

Yes. Go into retroarch and modify the core options. Under video is an option for resolution
Perfect dark and Goldeneye run good? seems weird Wave Race so bad when runs better on RG35xx-H :S

Perfect dark and goldeneye don't boot at all. There is something wrong with the firmware that limits the games that can be played. With the stock firmware, N64 is actually not very good on the trimui. I've started testing knulli and it looks more promising but still very early and needs to be tweaked and fixed. At least knulli is booting those games that don't work on stock
Have you tried tomato update?

Yes I did. No changes were made to N64 by tomato os so the results are the same

I'm retroarch go to settings - on screen display - on screen notifications - notifications viability - then turn on display framerate
The problem is we need standalone emulators for N64 and Dreamcast Emulators.
But can it run Crysis...eh I mean Rogue Squadron?

Conkers does not boot at all under stock os
N64 is crasing. And saves under menu button dont work. Only works saves in retroarch. Worst thing its crahing. Never happend on rg35xx H.
