I got this walk behind mower that I have been using for years now. It finally came to that point where it's ignoring try mower and the spindle wont engage. I have replace the belt and still not working properly. I finally had enough of it and decided to tear it apart and see what was the cause. I believed I have found the problem or problems. I think it's combinations of the bent lever and belt tensioner lever getting stuck.
