The flugel horn is absolutely perfect - bravo to him. Such a soulful sound. Vocals are also very good. Beautiful version of this song and so well arranged.

The right vocalist (with Diana Krall) to sing my favorite song. The whole album, a tribute to Burt Baccharach is a pure jewell. First thanks to Burt, but Trijntje does a gorgeous performance here. Soulful, radiant, inspired, she has the vocal skills to sing whatever she wants. A great hommage to one of the best pop composers ever. R. I. P. Burt

This is one of my favorite Bacharach songs. I have enjoyed his great songs since the 1960's. RIP Mr. Music!

Why have I never seen this before or even heard of the singer ! Love this song and wow her voice is just stunning !

This was one of the last music recordings I played for my mother before she died at 95 after my father died the year before. She could not speak, but we enjoyed music together and this was best I could do to bring back great memories. Thank you T.O. and Metropole.

I can't imagine being at such age just a year after the loss of my partner, after a whole life together full of feelings... It must be one of those happy and sad feelings at the same time. Makes you cry because it's over, remembering all those moments together, and not regretting anything. Just waiting for the time to say goodbye too, after realizing life has been fully lived. Surely one kind of ending I'm looking forward to have. If it was a matter of choice, I would rather endure the pain of the loss of my partner than let my partner go though that. I'm just 20. Who is this tremendous talent. I never heard of her before. Exquisite vocals. Now Dusty and Dionne are on another island. They are the gold standard for this song, so I won't begin to compare. But this has to be the best modern day version of this song that I have ever heard in my entire life. Just brilliant. The control in her voice and it seems effortless. Why haven't I heard of this artist whose name I cannot pronounce? She's just great.

I have heard the Metropole Orchestra previously and they are exceptional. This is my first time hearing Trijntje and she has such a beautiful voice and her phrasing is impeccable.

I'm in love with this orchestra. These wind instruments bring a "late summer afternoon at the beach" kind of sweetness and the singer's voice is really beautiful. 🎶🎼🎵👏👏👏👏👏😍❤️

I will always love this song. I've heard so many versions and they ALL sound great. This is the first I've heard of this artist she sound so good.
