So I was curious and looked at the bridge on google maps to see if there were any signs. It looks like they prohibit some kind of two-wheeled vehicle, but I can't tell if it's bikes or just motorcycles. However, they also prohibit what looks to be roller skating, skateboards, and pets, so I imagine it prohibits all bikes as well.

Everyone knows pedestrians are fucking oblivious to their surroundings and need to be avoided just like motorists, who either are distracted and dangerous, or aggressive and speeding. Which is why experienced cyclists skirt laws that keep them in close proximity to hazards like stupid fucks walking, or really stupid Karen drivers.

It gets REALLY annoying that bikes & scooters are now RIDDEN ON pedestrian/walking trails, sidewalks, and areas that are legally reserved for foot traffic. It is becoming dangerous in some areas.

Yet, no matter what, it's all dependant on how SAFE it is to do it. I will intentionally ride on the street in certain sections of town because of that. There are other areas where I will throttle down to walking/jogging speeds and avoid pedestrians, if not completely YIELD for them, like you're supposed to in places where it's LEGAL to ride on pedestrian paths.
