People are so gullible. This bird is fine. If he felt uncomfortable he would have tried to get away. I grew up with birds I know. They're not afraid to let you know if something bothers them. Also, they're not little balloons waiting to burst. "Shouldn't stress them out too much" is completely out of place here. Not everything out of the ordinary stresses a bird out to the point of death. Like wow. If it's a novelty, he may be surprised, but if he feels uncomfortable, he'll show some kind of sign of that. Animals have their own feelings you don't have to try and read their minds, they'll let you know. Something like this especially is on no way trapping the animal either. Really no words to describe how annoying some of these posts are.

I agree. When I was reading about parrots, I saw someone said "AAAHH MY BIRD DIED CYZCUZ OF STRESS MMBHNNBNN" ..Clearly, I don't think that's what happened. I'd like to believe Budgie's are very intelligent and strong. they're like the chihuahuas of the birds. then again, I don't actually have one.. But I'd really love to have one! (I've been reading about them since september last year)

Remember: We don't want to stress your budgie out-- we want this to be a FUN learning experience...

Balancing is a lot easier for this lil birb that it is for us, so it can definitely be a smaller learning curve as long as it's a birb who wants to.

I think she said "You want this to be a fun learning experience for both of you" every 30 seconds.

LMAO... Same. I placed a ping pong ball near their food tray on top of their cage. It's been 2 months it's still there untouched🤣

Aww the yellow stripe accross his belly reminds me of my budgie Laura... she just passed about 2 years ago :( She was my favorite bird ever!

I remember making this video it was made for kids I was not aware so many adults would like it so much ? and that's very much appreciated I hope it is self explanatory that is why I was very deliberate in regards to the instruction side of the care of the birds whilst training them ... hence the repeated emphasis on two minuets and not stressing the birds out :) enjoy I am killing myself laughing watching this right now ....I may have been a tad enthusiastic with the repeated instructions ..they are very clever animals and I have been privileged to have the memory of the experience with them and to have made so many people smile :)

@Sk8birds I found the repetition a bit annoying too but I completely understand why you did it because some people get too obsessed with showing off their pets as show pieces like a circus act which might look like spectacular tricks but if it means pressuring and stressing the pets making them uncomfortable when they perform then it can become cruel instead of fun.U r right to balance the concept of training with good care for the bird's well being- and well done Mick you did so well gorgeous

continued - if your gentle and very patient and do this activity slowly he will become very confident with being handled around the wing area and face , back tummy and feet which will make him quite easy to teach , if you look at my videos you will note my birds a very happy being trained there not stressed . It is very easy for me 2 handle my little babies which makes training & grooming much easier too such as cliping nails and other .
