They do not know what that are saying. They are mimicking sounds and can associate certain words or phrases with expected outcomes, like asking your dog if it wants to go for a walk. Parrots are incredibly intelligent, but let's not anthropomorphize them.
I had no idea his focalization was so perfect. I am very fond of Chester. I wish I lived where you live so I could see the odd fly by.

It seems Birds eyes have 4-8 times the zoom compared to our eyes, depending on the specie. It’s like a sort of built-in binoculars.
