I'm not a farmer, but for some reason I love your chanel. I love how you explain everything!
Awesome video Mike! Thanks for the walk through and all the running comments with it.💪
Good morning Mike.. Thank you for the ride along... Have a great Wednesday 😊
That is really awesome to watch you spray and climb around on the sprayer. Explain how it works. Thank you so much. Greetings from Virginia
Man you make excellent videos loved the explanation of how the auto steer system works 👍👍🚜🚜💨
The wass guidance is always moving. Constant nudge. RTK is the shnizle. Lol. We had a 4410 and I wired the foot pedal into the foam marker button. That was mint!!!
Hey Mike, I run a Deere with SF3 and never have to nudge a line all year after it’s set. It’s amazing how well it works. You probably are running that on your 4060 though too. If not it’s totally worth it. We run that globe on the tractor for seeding then I put it on the sprayer for the chick peas and desiccation.
thanks for sharing, looking forward to harvest time!
Great video Mike nice looking chickpea crop
Nice looking sprayer Mike
I have been watching you for a while and it is wrecking my head as to how much land you guys farm? Used to think maybe about 20 or25 square miles but the more I watch the more I think it's a lot more.
I like that you can see the back of your sprayer in your mirrors while your booms are folded out
Nice video!! thanks for share.
Halfway through the video before you got off the road... exhausting!

I seen a big case sprayer go by my house the other day, I thought about you lol 😂
That is one hell of a sprayer
Morning mike!
Brians higher off the crops in the trident cab than he is in the cockpit of the plane lol
Good job you’ve got that hand rail Mike to stop you falling off the machine when you have to crouch down to pick up the fuel nozzle eh😉😉
Mike, just want to let you know you have an epic beard fam! 😉
Hey to best dam farmers in Saskatchewan... 40 mph, u be cruzzing rite long
Mike - don't want to loose you, but we're still missing that up front Titanic Bow shot. Seriously, be safe my friend.
Wow way to plan ahead with fill stations. I bet you had a lot of trail and error to get set up. Another great video.

Great vid as usual ! 👍 Could you summary the type of work in the filelds by month ? Thanks !!
I imagine you tilt so many with climbing on the sprayer like that, i am the same on our combines and oeople get maaaad
With john deere rtk your never resetting lines. You turn and press resume button and go. You should try it
Smart systems for loading in the field
With all that chickpeas, you should be the king of falafel in the middle east if you open a factory on the side of the fields and export it to them
Mike we run 2 r4030’s and I can say that as far as ride quality, and ability to control how your applying the Deere is second to none. Hate the carbon fiber booms though. Would definitely stay away from them on rougher ground

In the Uk we had a product recall on the carbon fibre booms because of the trouble with them. I don’t know if any other countries had the same.
its insane to me that these new sprayers still have the option for foam markers
Along with the fuel filling issue another issue with case is every red tractor or sprayer will eventually have scr failure it seems like.

Mike, I'm not sure if you touched on this topic yet. But could you give your impressions so far of the new JD x9 combine and will you demo one this fall? Thanks!
thanks for the vid mike. u mentioned in one vid that u might upload media from yr wedding .will that be on utube or is it on other social media platforms ...peace out
Looks like you are going into battle with the duals removed but the hubs have the studs protruding like in the days of the Roman chariots.....
Your controlled traffic issue could be solved with VSN from Raven. If you have a V4 controller and RS1 GPS it will visually see the track and keep you in that track regardless of speed from 3-4" tall on up.
Have you looked at the agrifacs sprayer at all? They've got some interesting concepts
On the subject of following tracks, circa late '60s, my grandfather was cultivating corn ahead of a bad storm blowing in. He saw a funnel cloud drop and headed straight for the barn lot, but, in his haste he forgot to raise the cultivator and took out a 4 row width of crop as he drove diagonally across the field:)
Filling that with fuel is just like the case tractors they don’t take fuel very well. Always end up getting soaked with diesel!
Mike if I hit the button on the top of the cluster buy the window that looks like suspension when u load u don’t have to wait

I have a question, Why do you not spray all your fields with the air plane? that way you do not leave tracks in the field at all. I am not a farmer so I was just wondering? since you have the plane ?
How did you configure your air carts when you ran liquid fertilizer? Did you carry more seed? Potash? More of both?
7500 acres, unreal man.. load station is def best way for you guys
Lol, crazy canadian!!
Mike, I said it on your last "climbing on a moving sprayer" video and ill say it again the neglect of any thought of safety is disgusting. There is a reason that these companies put the rotating amber warning lights on these sprayers and they are meant to be used for safety. Please remedy this situation and keep up the climbing on sprayer videos those are pretty cool.

Hey Mike can you show us your sprayer trailer setup
If you change the wheel speed cal number in the deere it goes 43 mph 35 loaded
Trucks certainly are a PAIN to fill up at slower rates with the size of their tanks🤬😱
whats up with your fendt combines, are they ready for this year ?
Que estilo de vida que eu sempre quiz pra mim
I think it’s worth buying the Trident for the air horn alone
They built the whole sprayer and then someone said "ohh shit, forgot to make a way to fuel it up! Just wing it?" Its wung lol
Can you turn off the speed mode thing so that you can do 40mph loaded
Kk c ya there
Those dual wheel hubs might rub taller crops? Idea has merit but I think I’d just as soon swap large lsw floaters off and put on skinny’s.
@corgraveland4874
4 жыл бұрын
Ok, those hubs may hit the larger crops. Well, don't yet understand why the wheel hubs are not mounted to the duals? As that would both be more safe to drive on the road, easier to pass other vehicles, allow to have a small base configuration of the sprayer, do not damage the larger crops, safe some weight, etc. And once designed well, it isn't more difficult to mount, is it? But you have the experience with duals and tripels. Hope to learn why this is doen this way.

Hmmm... a cheap roof for rainwater collection above those water tanks, twice the size of a semi trailer would produce app. 7,000 gallons of water a year...
@allennierman8382

I was thinking that too, I'd build a roof for collecting water. It would at least help.
Sounds like someone is running a Shop Vac in the background lol
Curious if it would be worth it in the long run to toss wells up at each loading station to cut cost of hauling water back and forth. Fuel and maintenance cost on top of paying wages and mileage
@mikemitchell2554
4 жыл бұрын
It's a 150,000 per well, plus getting power there would cost millions
Are there newer varieties of chickpeas available that have better disease resistance or herbicide tolerance traits? Seems like you spend a fortune on your input costs to produce the crop. Some better disease resistance traits would help cut back on the chemical applications.
what is in the shipping container beside the water tanks.
Mike How many acres are you all farming?
What's the gallons per minute on that big diesel pump
How big is your farm?😮
How many acres do you all farm in total? I know you said in one video you have a field that's 5500 acres, and you spoke of 7500 around that tank depot - impressive numbers, what is the grand total-ish?

+1. The quick bend in the pipe causes the diesel to splash back at the nozzle and hit the aspirate shutting the nozzle off. Pull it out about 50 mm.

@@austin357 I mainly meant on combines, cause they are in Europe top tier with preformance and efficiency. @@austin357 Fendt / Challenger (AGCO) do produce some pretty sprayers, called Rogator. Mike knows them well I think. Mike's Next sprayer to test might be the Agrifac Condor, with op till 55 m (180 feet) booms But might be to much given usual hard conditions on the field in SK? That machine uses so-called need-farming tech which allows to save some chemicals as it only sprays it where needed in the field. The machine monitors and recognises particular weeds, etc.
