Thanks for another great video Chet and everyone. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the drone footage of the bin project. That was most interesting. Gives you an idea of what is going on. Thanks. You folks are moving a lot of dirt and clay to make this bin project work. Wow. With all the machinery working hard you are getting it done. Hope your sump pump keeps working to pull out the water. That is one big hole for a big grain bin. Wow. The hitch on the dirt wagon is holding up. Yeah. Eric you got the cover crop of wheat spread. That should work good I would think. Interesting to keep an eye on it. Cover crop should help that area. This bin project is most interesting. Huge hole you dug. Not have to put the gravel in and pack it real good. Big project. Thanks for everything Chet and crew. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

If you need to sow cover crops, it will save the farm money to do it, rather than spend a lot on expensive chemicals to kill the weeds that surely will take over!! By the way Eric, as always, your explanation hits the spot, bang on! Chet, damn good idea using autosteer. Everybody did a good job today, so hopefully things don't get worse than expected. The Minnesota department of natural resources says… Minnesota is considered to have abundant water resources, but groundwater is not evenly distributed across the state. The Minnesota Groundwater Provinces map summarizes regional differences in aquifers and groundwater resources. “Provinces 2 (South-central) and 5 (Western) The glacial sediment in these provinces is typically fine-grained (e.g., clay and silt) and may contain only limited extents of surficial and buried sand aquifers. Province 2 contains sedimentary bedrock aquifers that are commonly used. Province 5 contains fractured bedrock commonly buried deeply beneath glacial sediment and is of limited use as an aquifer.”

Needless to say we had to load it all back up and haul it off😔 it wouldn’t meet compaction or moisture testing 🙄 it was a kick in the bean bag for sure, but you just gotta start over.💪 no quit!
