You guys are on your way to the top 100 ATP doubles rankings with top 50 DEFINITELY in the cards. You are continuing to improve your doubles specific skills and still have room to improve your return of serve IMO. So happy for your continued, well earned success! You both can play on the full ATP tour and in Grand Slams if you keep working hard- and I can't wait to see you do it! Edit: If anyone reads this and is not subscribed to Simon's channel please, please, please do so now. It costs you nothing and could be the difference between his being able to continue his pro career and eventually make it into the Slams and top level ATP tournaments.

whats the route to grand slams for these guys? how many ATP points do they need to get into slam qualifiers? he keeps mentioning opponents that have played grand slams and they keep beating them.

You wrote exactly what i was thinking. It would be so great for them to start making some "real" money on the ATP tour as well to get the financial pressure off. They really deserve it.

It’s a very tough jump from around 150 -> 80 (which is needed for GS’s), it’s about a 2x ranking point jump 😅

@@Simon.Freund keep grinding. I love the content. I play mostly doubles and watching you guys play has really helped me play more aggressively at the net.
i’m gonna cry when you guys play your first grand slam, i live in melbourne so if you ever come down to australia to play doubles i’ll be there, on my life i’m the biggest simon fan in the world bro

Same but I'm Nigerian so I won't be able to😅, but I've been watching him for close to 2 years since I started playing tennis and he's gotten so good I'm so proud of him
The wall of FREING is impenetrable. Incredible reactionary strokes from an incredible team. Man, what a ride you guys are on!! All the best and super proud of you both!! Cheers! M
Both you and your partner's returns of serve used to be the weakest part of your doubles game, but now the returns are much sharper. Great work.
you guys are showing that you're better in a number of ways than your challenger level opponents. i believe the break into the top 100 and atp tournaments is coming soon
Great stuff! Doubles are helping your singles game but also, financially, this is a life line. Congratulations!🎉
Well played, despite the blip in the second set, you came through fine. Keep the focus!
You are great to get into the momentum, and staying there.
the biggest glaring difference between your team and opponents is you guys were rock solid on serve returns. they just couldn't match that.

that two game stretch in the first part of the second set was as big a sag as i have seen you two have. they actually picked up and played their best games during that span and kiinda started to kick you guys around. but... as you said, the focus stayed and you were able to get going again, and kudos to you and jo for that.
You're sparking an interest in becoming a better doubles player lol and I don't like doubles that much. Keep on going man!!! Going to be super exciting to catch you on a live feed of a GS soon 😂
Great run in the states! Hope to see you back in the summer and qualify for the USO!
Well done! Expectations are high now :)
Good match, lots of great returns, 2nd most important shot. Cool to see results improving. Cheers
Hoping you guys come back to the US for the hard court swing leading up to the US Open 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Johan's returns🤤
