#kidney_failure patient suffers from #odema or #leg_swelling, as kidney is unable to filter out fluid from the body, excess fluids get accumulated in the lower part of the body.
Such kidney failure patient can reduce swelling in two ways.
1. Reduce water intake so that the Excess amount of fluid can be filtered out by the kidney eventually. or
2. We can improve kidney function with the help of KFRT, as the kidney function increases kidneys are more capable in filtration of fluid from the body.
Sodium (salt) affects your fluid balance and when your kidneys are not working properly, extra sodium and fluid builds up in your body.
This can cause swollen ankles, face, legs and hands. Too much salt can cause high blood pressure and increases the fluid that builds up in your body and causes swelling. Following a diet that is low in sodium is very important. Stop intake of salt in your diet
Water retention can also cause body weight.
So, it's important to keep a check on the body weight. Measure your body weight on a regular basis.

hello Doctor, My dad is a kidney patient and going through Dialysis. He is suffering from severe pain due to swelling in Knee and couldn't use or move legs due to this. Take a bunch of Coriander ( about 25 g ) . Boil it in 300 ml water till it reduces to 100 ml. Cool it and drink it after filtering. It is indeed useful in ckd.
