@@PCInstitute Sir you are adding chlorine and other substituents in all prefixes...but what if carbon is added when one hydrogen is removed inspite of cl,br etc Please explain like -CH-CH2-CH3 | CH3 (here CH3 is added instead of chlorine,bromine)

ch3 will add on in the formation of carbon chain... And it'll become iso pentane.
