I know a trick my friend made up. If you are trying to fill in a unit circle for degrees, than say, "30, 15, 15, 30, 30, 15, 15, 30." Until you are done filling it out. It would look like this on the circle: 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 135, 150, 180, 210, 225, 240, 270, 300, 315, 330, 360. Keep adding 30 then 15 then 15 then 30 until you get to the end. Hope this helps.

@@gacalka this trick is used to figure the angle numbers. Look up on Google: "The Unit Circle" for a good example. If you want to find sin, cos, and tan then look at coordinates points. Example: (1/2, √3/2) or (0, 1)

So, the Tangent would be the number of fingers on the right of the degree divided by the number of fingers on the left of the degree, and then the square root of that, i.e., the TAN of 60 would be sqrt (3/1); the TAN of 45 would be sqrt (2/2); the TAN of 30 would be sqrt (1/3).

I was in a real worry about thinking these sin, cos and tan but today it had faded awy. Thanks a lot sir, from bottom of my heart🥺❤️🙏
This trick is unbelievable! It has cleared all my doubts of never being able to learn this topic. Thank you sir.
Where was this when I was failing my math exam two years ago
There are several ways to make things easier. You could remember the Sin() values in order from Sin(0) to Sin(90) as sqrt(x/4) with x varied from 0 to 4, then the Cos() would be the same values but invert their order. Afterwards Tan() is just solving Sin()/Cos(). Another way is to visualize rows for Sin() and Cos(), Sin() on top, with 30, 45 and 60 degrees as columns, then fill it left to right starting from top left "1,2,3, 3,2,1 ", divide everything by 2 and the numerators get a sqrt except for the ones with 1. You won't get values for 0 or 90 degrees but those are easy if you understand what Sin() and Cos() are on the trig circle.
This is really helpful, thank you so much 🌺
If I start doing this in an exam it's going to look like an advanced form of communication or like I'm trying to do a spell.
You got the last one reversed. It was 45°, so it didn't matter, but you went left for sin and right for cos.

FYI this does the whole circle, this is just the first quadrant. Only thing that changes is the signs (+ or -). If the x values are negative then the cosine is negative, and if the y values are negative than sine is negative. So figure out the quadrant and slap on the right negatives and you can do any angle not just up to 90.
@joeyenniss9099
Жыл бұрын
@@kipskip_1203 yes it is the same other than the sign. You can put it in you calculator to double check if you need. Supplementary angles will always give you the same sin and cos just with a different sign ( + or - ) depending on the quadrant the angle ends in. For 135 degrees it is in the second quadrant so the cos will be negative because the x axis is negative, but the sin will stay the same because it is the same positive y value. 225 degrees will return the same value as well, but both sin and cos will be negative because the x and y values are negative in the bottom left quadrant.
for those who didn't get 45 degre one. root2/2 =root2/root2 x root2 =1/ root2 hope now u got it now :D

Tecmath doesn't follow his own directions at 4:20. When finding sin, he's counting all the fingers on the Left side of the finger to arrive at sin, but elsewhere it is those fingers to the right. Follow the directions in the first part of the video, and skip the last minute. If you're finding Cos, count the # of fingers to the LEFT ... if you're finding Sin, count the # of fingers to the RIGHT.
@rileysimmons9886

The sine and cosine value of 45 are the same (as you can see, there are an equal number of fingers on the left and right side of your middle finger), so it didn't really matter which side he used, although he was technically not following his own rule, he wasn't wrong.
