Senator Edward Kennedy - A Champion for the many. Kennedy often quoted, my favorite poem, "Ulysses" -- "I am a part of all that I have met, tho' much is taken, much abides, that which we are, we are, One equal temper of heroic hearts, strong in will, to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield." The hope still lives and the dream will never die.

@@shahrulamar5358 a "flaw" is something like....he interrupts me when im talking.....or he snores at night....or he always overcooks the hamburgers.....etc...... what ole teddy did was so evil and inexcusable …..he left the poor girl to drown in the lake....he did NOT call and ask for help....he just left her their, with no help, to drown a lonely death. when others call trash teddy " leaders".....then we must talk back and refute those who make those phrases. Rosa Parks is a leader, Abraham Lincoln was a leader, Martin Luther King was a great leader......teddy kennedy was a drunk who cheated on his wife and who was a complete embarrassment to himself, his family, and to his country......only a coward leaves a girl to drown in a lake.

My first memory of the Kennedys was the Assassin of JFK. We had the first TV in our village and this was the first we saw. Terrible. Next when I was 12 the Assassin of Bobby Kennedy. Terrible. I became very interested in politics after this.(also the MLK murder) So I started to write to Edward Kennedy. I'm aware of that his staff replied but he signed them. I was so proud. I continued to write to him til I was 17. I got one long letter from him where he wrote about his political goals and also I got photographs of all 3 brothers. On his photo he has written: With best wishes E.d Kennedy 1970. I'm so thankful for all this. He and his brothers will always be rememberd.♥️🙏🙏🙏♥️

Murderer? No, a great mistake? Oh for sure, but even the event itself is under question. Regardless, he has felt guilty for it, even in his final words. Plus, those who argued he should have gone to jail, it probably didn't matter,as he wouldn't be able to become President in the first place. Ted Kennedy was, at least from what I can tell, was remorseful and regretfully what happened. Yet, afterwards he worked hard to help others, maybe to help make amends and continue his brothers work. One life lost, a life full of pain and regret, later a life spent to public service and effort to make amends and work for others. I won't lie, if convicted, I would understand and wouldn't oppose it, but let the death of one, however tragic, distract from the fact he worked the rest of his life trying to help millions of others. Do not forget Mary Jo. ,but don't ignore he was more then just that. Not a monster but a flawed man, who's on failings lead to the death of someone, whether directly or in directly.
