Obama's 2004 DNC keynote speech

Years before he became president, many Americans first met Barack Obama during the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Obama talks about personal responsibility and the immense opportunities offered in America. The sad reality is this speech would be considered “far right” by woke liberals in 2020. They accept nothing less than a narrative of collective victimhood and that America and white people are evil. Scary to see how far left the left has gone.

In 2004, Obama was against globalism, illegal immigration, and woke identity politics. The left is so insane in 2020 that they would view a politician with these views as being “far right.” Scary but true.

This is fr one of the strongest speeches in recent history. I think just about everyone agrees that its the major reason he became president. He put himself on the world stage with speeches like this and the one in Berlin. Very moving speech at times as well. I miss having a president that can show genuine compassion and care for others

@@Frederick0220 In reality, Obama's speech was slightly left of center, and regardless of who hogs the spotlight on the far-right or far-left the majority of the country still resides closer to the middle than what is covered by the media. The left isn't insane, nevertheless, you may find the far-left a political threat and that's okay, but at least you can vote them out with your ballot. Contrast that with the far-right who US Intelligence agencies say poses a violent national security threat to American's...and that puts our nation in jeopardy at an entirely different level.

His speech on Rev. Wright was even better ("A More Perfect Union": kzread.info/dash/bejne/hKyB3M5vo7aTZMo.html) and it's what sealed up his run for president in 2008, in my mind...the Clinton campaign really tried to take him down via "guilt by association". And he still appointed her to his Cabinet...that requires a certain level of humility and understanding that goes beyond most of us.

Aka, stop making excuses and victimhood. FAR cry from the Dems of 2020. He also didnt condemn White Supremacy or even acknowledge "systemic racism". If Trump made this exact same speech, he'd be called a Nazi, White Supremacist sympathizer, and his comments about "learning to read isnt acting white" would be taken as a "dog whistle". I live in a very conservative red state, about half of my friends are conservative (some even voted for trump.) I would not be friends with these people if they were not good or kind. I respect them and they respect me. You are going to miss out on a lot of potential good friends and life experiences if you choose to disregard anybody who's political views don't match with yours. Maybe do a little research before leaping to conclusions based on what a politician says. They're politicans for a reason - they lie seamlessly. Obama's father is idealized as a great man who worked hard and walked the right path who dreamed of enabling his son's dreams. Read Obama's actual auto-memoir "The Color of Water". His dad was a wife beating deadbeat who left his son during his infancy. Obama spent less time with his father than people spend sitting next to a guy on the train on a morning commute. Deductive thinking - if he's able to so seamlessly lie about the most basic foundations of his identity and family, what else is (or isn't) he lying about?

In my view and infact he is the best liar and mass-murderer USA ever had as president: Promissed to stop the wars, but did not stop any, but started wars on Libya and Syria. He promissed banning nuclear weapons, but brought nuclear missiles to the Russian border. The most disgusting liar I ever did see. He did fulfill the neocons war plans of 1991: US General Wesley Clark about US Government plan to invade 7 arab countries in 5 years iraq, syria, Lebanon, Libya, somalia, sudan and Iran. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZZaYxNaqibKcqc4.html

May be one, what you never would accept as bad: Cheap health insurance for many without insurance: This is very bad and actually deathly in many cases. 1. because most drups do not heal, but supress symptoms, what even is e.g. in case of fever very bad to do so, and thay cause new additional illnesses for even more business for the pharma-Mafia. The Pharma-profits are the only reason why this was made. Normal people think twice and ask if a drug really helps. With insurance the pill droppers of the pharma-mafia will prescribe this pills and contribute to around some hundredthousands deaths by prescription drugs any year. It a fgre issued by the FDA.
